Our 1st visit to Canvey M&S Food Hall. As you would expect really from any M&S store. Great line of ready meals & pre prepared dishes, staff extremely helpful and polite but prices in today's ever increasing world are bordering on ridiculous. Just as a random example, we regularly buy a sticky toffee pudding in another well known supermarket and it was almost double the price in M&S for a smaller dessert. Arguably it was better presented and the box was slightly better, but you really have to be an M&S superfan to accept these prices. Nice clean store with wide aisles but you'll most certainly avoid if you're buying on a tight budget. Ample parking at the front of the store.

Not opening till when long queue….Also, even with a confirmatory email, you cannot speak to a human initially…. I tried to show my email to two and was redirected. You must enter your full name in a computer yourself … bureaucracy gone crazy

I have been meaning to leave this review for some time now. I love my new local M&S store. Shop there every Friday. I have gotten to know all the usual staff members quite well. I am partially sighted and they always go above and beyond to help me when I need it.

The quality of food is great and reasonably priced for the quality. I think M&S may be the last place in the UK now with decent quality food.

Excellent Store, Absolutely Brilliant Staff, Very Clean, Good Variety of Products, Seasonal Products on the Shelfs which has Squeezed out a few of the Usual Products, But that's Across All Stores. Free Parking, Easy Access from the Car Park. Comfortable Wide Aisles Easily Accommodated Wheelchairs and Mobility Scooters. Prices are Fairly Average, Some items are a Little More Expensive, But the Quality is Just that Little Better. Would Definitely recommend.

At this very strange time I want to thank the staff for all their hard work and patience with awkward customers as seen today about 9.am. I witnessed a member of the public kick off because the over 70's were being let in first, this woman only had another10 minutes to wait but complained and moaned at the guys on the door who I must say were very good and remained calm. So thanks M& S staff Canvey for being on the front line and for all your hard work.

Although not huge, it carries most of the everyday M & S standard ranges. The point in using it is getting consistent quality and freshness, which frankly is not so true if 'other well known rivals'.
Not a local issue but the recent move to not so great real food in their dine in deals will hopefully revert ....pizza's are not what you go to M & S for ......
The added value is the Canvey friendliness !

I searched loads of supermarkets for some bouquet garni . I was disappointed that m and s had an empty space too !! I spoke to a lady called DENISE who checked her pad and checked the warehouse for me . She found some for me ! Excellent customer service and with a smile . thank you DENISE .
