We stumbled across this wonderful cafe by pure accident and couldn't believe our luck.

The venue is laid out in such a welcoming manner, it literally draws you in.

Once inside your welcomed by the fantastic staff, warm, friendly and professional.

As for the food, mind blown.

My fiancée and myself opted for Burgers and fries, my stepdaughter a toasted cheese sandwich, all simply glorious.

We chatted with the owner, as we were keen to introduce the venue to our friends and family, workmates etc.

My fiancée is very keen try a gaming experience there.

We cannot recommend the venue highly enough.

What a find!! This place is amazing.
Went to just get a take away bubble tea and found this hidden gem of a cafe. They have bubble tea… a food menu… AND A GAME MENU! And we’re talking the old-fashioned physical board game type, good old interacting with friends.
Absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go back !

We wondered why we were the only people in here on a Saturday morning at 11am and we soon found out why.
Lovely lady served us and our coffees and food were very nice and all good value. Our children were mesmerised by the fantastic aesthetic of the place and all the games on the tables etc. Such a unique selling point of an establishment one would think..
Until our sons were confronted by a very rude man; who told them all the games were not for playing with and no running around and shouting. The children were only excited and running around a little bit (it was empty we were the only customers) and they were complying with our request to not touch the play guns on the walls etc they were really being very good considering it’s such an exciting looking place. So the attitude of the man was bang out of order.
To conclude; if you are thinking of going to this cafe so your children can have a nice time while you enjoy your coffee and a bite to eat. Don’t bother.

The cafe is run by a great team of staff. Sam is very welcoming and has taken the time to personally help me learn to play Pokemon, and introduced me to other players. He even prepared a basic deck for me to try out before I built my own. I don't think many other shops would do that.

And the pricing makes it great value for your money.

Incredible place, the love and attention to detail given to the design of the many gaming areas, really friendly staff, great bubble tea, we’ve not eaten there yet but will be soon, the food is all freshly made and looks every bit as good as the rest of what they do. There’s a big selection of board games to borrow while you’re there, very reasonable prices for everything too. Oh, they have loads of events planned too and they’re making a lot of effort to make everything as inclusive and welcoming as possible, love the place and what they’re doing, it’s a 40 min drive from home but I think I’ll be a regular, it’s worth the travel time!

Heely don’t walk 🛼 to Happy Piranha Café! Why? Maybe it’s the super kind staff who are on a side quest to make everyone feel welcome (and aren’t just NPC menaces delivering same old customer service spiel)! Maybe it’s the gooey cheese toasties, milkshakes and chips (HP ♥️ cafe is more inclusive than Piers Morgan’s arch nemesis Miers Porgan, with their scrummy gluten free + vegan grub offerings)! Or maybe it’s the beautifully decorated rooms that all resemble different realms!

Either way…I’ll be back (for a snack) 🦾🤖
