Awful. Stay away. Purchased the beyerdynamic DT990s, headband broke. Charged to send them for repair. 9 months later, the cheap rubbish broke again. Charged to send back again. Horrible quality. Horrible service and communication from this terrible company. Stay away.

Needed a replacement cable for my Beyerdynamic DT1990 and Beyers website directed me to these guys.

They were very helpful in identifying the part I needed and had it out to me on a next day courier.
Potentially saved me from binning a pair of almost £500 headphones!

Would definitely use again in future.

bought a replacement bow cable for dt990 pro. got sent one for 1770/1990 headphones but inside packaging stating it's for dt990 pro. hours of confusion wasted trying to fit it to find out it's for the wrong headphones, thanks a lot polar. make no mistake, these guys aren't experts at all so take your business else where.

Bought a pair of active monitors from this shop, the courier didn't even ring my doorbell as I could watch the recording of him gently tapping instead of pushing the big silver button, so I contacted this lot about it who then refused to have my delivery left in a safe place as I would not be in the next day so contacted the courier to have it returned to them, they then placed the item as being delivered on the tracking and forced me to claim my money back. Never had a problem with parcels being left but this shop seems to run more on paranoia than customer service

I bought a new Gallien Krueger Legacy 112 bass amp from Polar's Ebay store in late December 2022. The amp came with a 2 year warranty, and I wanted the security which came from buying a new amp with a warranty should any issues arise.

The amp has only been used a handful of times. Always at home, never gigged, and never at anything approaching full volume.

The amp developed an audible fault, a sizzling sound which is extremely irritating.

I contacted Polar expecting this to be resolved under the warranty. They had me fill in a warranty repair form online, which seemed fine.

They then refused to help as they are no longer the UK supplier for Gallien Krueger. They told me to contact Andertons as they are now the GK agent.

No piece of proof of purchase has been adequate for Andertons. I have a new amp with a fault. There appears to be little will for Andertons to help, but I can't blame them. They didn't sell me the amp.

Polar have the gall to still be selling the amp on their site as I am writing this (26/4/23). I would hope that they have the decency to point out that they will not participate in any way should any issues arise with the amp (other than to tell them to go to Andertons). Polar have taken my money and essentially washed their hands of the matter. They have taken no responsibility whatsoever. Their customer service in my case has been abject.

I could have bought a second hand amp and saved my money.

Polar have been dire, absolutely dire.

Excellent and fast customer service. Replaced valves for my H&K Grandmeister Deluxe (under warranty ) with superb efficiency. Total turnaround time 2 days - fantastic service. Can't recommend them enough.

Checked the beyerdynamic website to order the DT 1990 Pro slider repair kit, but noticed they were not shipping to the UK. POLAR UK didn't have the item on their website, but beyerdynamic pointed UK customers to their website.

I contacted the team, who told me the delivery times and listed the item on their website for me to order. Ordered the product, and I was emailed the same day with an explanation as to how long it would take to deliver.

They sent the item within the timeframe, and was even able to rush the dispatch. Amazing! The item arrived, though the product was missing screws. This was very likely a beyerdynamic issue, so I contacted POLAR UK. They responded to the email, apologised for the missing screws, and shipped it the same day!

On the POLAR UK part, they did excellent. They were really fast and responsive to my messages, and operated under the age old principle of underpromise and overdeliver. Definitely recommend!
