I frequently visit this multinational store, mainly to buy meat, as it’s one of the few places offering a good selection. However, the experience with the butchers has been consistently disappointing. Sometimes feathers in the chicken is not properly cleaned or even if you request them to cut the meat into smaller pieces they wont do it .

For a store of this scale and reputation, I expected much better service. This aspect definitely needs improvement to match the standards of the brand.

Shopped in there last month, by the amount of £81 and the lady at the till said you get free complimentary dozen of bottled water, which I was very thankful for. Done the same again this week with another lady at the till, I asked her for the complimentary water and she said; No, you need to buy stuff for £100+ and when I said that it was only 80 last month she said rudely no, it was never the case and I shouldn't be asking for the water and need to follow the rules! Well, I won't be shopping in there again as the most important rule is the customer is always right!!

If you are after European and African ingredients this is the place for you. From preserves to beans to fresh produce from med region, east Europe and beyond they have such a large selection. My favourite ingridient sourcing place in the Portsmouth area . And great prices too ! I am really happy this place exists

Went there last night and I wanted to buy chicken legs, I selected the legs I wanted to be served, but the man refused to give me what I wanted I told him I pay for what I want and I like, he refused then I walked away with the intention to not coming back there again as I am a regular customer and I think they know that. Unfortunately this is what will happen if customers are not happy and served what they want.

Perfect place for shopping halal food,deshi spices and middle eastern ingredients.Halal chicken, lamb,beef, yogurt,Cheese, cardamom, resin,chillis,vegetables, dates,olives,nuts,rice,frozen parata everything available with huge options. Loaded with goodies that every Muslim foodies crave. Staffs are friendly. Price is reasonable and affordable.Best place for Ramadan and Eid shopping.

Nobody in the shop knew the filling of doughnuts.. how can you sell something if there is no information ,no labels and people doesnt know what it is either.? As a new law you NEED to have allergy guide on everything. In the meat area all i could smell was strong chemicals
