Every other brand takes 5 minutes to show their staff what a Scottish or Irish note looks like. Waitrose have a handy little chart for the staff for example. But not Co-op. If as a Scotsman my money is not welcome there I will take it elsewhere. Shocking that this is still a thing in 2024 and have not encountered elsewhere in at least 10 years.
Also shockingly overpriced

One supervisor is responsible for this rating starting at 1 star. Rude, unapologetic and quite frankly, lazy.
Didnt apologise for wrongly supplied cigarettes, despite it costing me money to return there to exchange and getting soaked a sudden down-pour en-route. Then expected me to pay extra for goods ( illegal as goods incorrectly charged by them in first instance) and raced from behind till to try to intercept me at the door when i refused to pay the extra, though it had taken 6 calls from a collegue that needed assistence before this supervisor finally emerged from the rear of the store.
Also had the audacity to ban me from the store when i showed her the same rudeness she had showed me.
The second star has been gained by colleagues who are aware of my "ban" but declined to action this.

This is our local shop so use it on a daily basis, the staff are all friendly and welcoming ... Only complaint is the constant rising prices.

Awfully run, always check your receipt(which you will have to ask for as it is almost never given to you) as offers and pricing are wrong on a regular basis.

The staff need some serious training in customer service.
