I definitely wouldn't recommend this place for functions. but if u do just let them do the cleaning up after cause the person that's at the end of the emails who won't speak to you on the phone won't give you your deposit back. We left that hall in a better and cleaner state than when we went in and they wanted to offer me £12.50 back.what an Insult

We will definitely be visiting again soon. 5* service from enquiring, booking the function room to service on the night. It’s a spacious, clean venue with a fantastic relaxed vibe, can’t thank all the staff enough.

First time in this club today, I was signed in as a guest of a friend, staff welcoming, beer great, good value, really friendly atmosphere.
Great to see British Legion clubs like this doing well, so impressed I’ve put in for membership and look forward to coming back as a member.

I phoned to ask if they were open and was informed they were a members only club. I informed them I was a member of the RBL in Germany where I was posted when I joined and was told that i had to be a member there. When i asked if i could put in an application (£15) for membership and then drink there till it was processed, with someone signing me in and putting 50p in the box everytime, I was told no, I had to wait till the application was processed. I mean seriously, how are you supposed to know if you want to join a place unless you can visit a couple of times and get a feel for it? I would stay well clear, I'll be informing the RBL, they cant be making any money which is a shame when it's for such a good charity.
