Ansom shop for proper gear and riding equipment too. You don't have to be into equine sports to shop and stop here! Very very nice staff. Super helpful great person service. You can get outdoor wear women's and chaps stuff and get a nice cuppa or lunch! Loved the staff I met and I'll be shopping here again for sure! Thanks RP! ❣️💞

Always a great experience at Redpost, but on our most recent visit (23/11) I needed help with the fitting of a new helmet and body protector. We were helped by Georgina and she was excellent. She went out of her way to give us all of the different options and was so patient and kind. Once we made our decisions, these were then safety checked to make sure they were right for me. Fantastic service and really recommend to anyone needing anything equine related! Thanks so much. 🙂

We always make the effort to go to Redpost whenever we go on holiday down to Devon. Great shop with so much variety to choose from! Jazz was super helpful sorting out a new hat and long boots for me - making sure they were both the perfect fit. She took a lot of time to help us and I'm so grateful I finally have a hat and boots which are comfortable to wear for hours! Thank you!

My horse crazy daughter had really wanted to visit for a while now, and While we were visiting family in the area we thought we would be have a look.
We have had a level 3 racesafe body protector on order for a while in our own area but because there is a national shortage, she has been unable to try any for size and we were starting to worry that she wouldn't get one in time for starting BRS in September. Well, two lovely ladies in your sales team came to our rescue, even checking licencing rules that we were unsure of. Fitted my daughter and even checked with her sitting in a saddle. They where very kind and understanding and lovely and chatty.
We are greatful that she now has a perfectly fitting body protector that she feels is as light as air lol. And we even got a free (very) Appley car freshener!
This shop had so many wonderful labels in, fairfax, ariat, aubrion, Charles owen, boss equestrian and so much more.
The amount of beautiful helmets in the shop was amazing. 🤩

Definitely a worthwhile trip! Ordering air jackets and riding boots online is all very convenient, but having the in-person expertise of the Redpost team is unmatched! My daughter and I were greeted by Georgie who couldn't have been more helpful. I had booked online a personal fitting appointment for an air jacket, so no sooner had we arrived our fitting commenced! Georgie was very thorough and offered great advice. So much so, that due to the fact there is a brand new air jacket coming out in January that is slightly more fitted than the existing offering, we put our name down and will be notified once they are in.

Having visited a number of equestrian stores locally, they never seemed to have the stock, variety or size in. One store promised to call within the week, but we never heard back. That cannot be said about Redpost! The store is fantastically well stocked!

Georgie was kind enough to show us an extensive range of riding boots and within 10 minutes, we were sorted. Easy as that!

We then spent a while "browsing" or rather adding to Santa's "I would like" list and then took some time out to grab a coffee and a delicious bite to eat in the Stable Café.

So if you are located in Devon, Cornwall, Dorset or Somerset, the Redpost Equestrian shop is without question a very worthwhile trip.

Brilliant shop to visit, at last a store that has a decent range of high quality gear. Staff were super helpful, we went to buy a riding hat and the range was huge. The member of staff who helped was so knowledgeable and fitted it perfect. Stayed for a snack in the Cafe, still some fine tuning to do there..(a full cup of coffee would be nice.👍😆) But nice cakes and very clean and roomy. Will definitely make this a regular visit. Brilliant..!!
