Liked: Overall the site was lovely, food in the pub was nice and the pool and park were fab for the younger kids. We were pitched quite close to facilities and a nice large pitch for our big tent. Had a soul and Motown band and singer on and she was fantastic!

Disliked: The toilets could have been cleaner, which I know is difficult at times when busy.

Liked: The place is just what my children like, there is a pool with a cover on which can be opened up, there is a fun park with swings slides a zip line an upside down play house amongst other things.

The food is always very yummy and the choice of drinks and cocktails is really good and good value for money too.

Disliked: Only downside was the flooring was coming up just inside the ladies toilet and I tripped over a couple of times

Liked: 3rd stay here in about 6 years. Both returning stays we can see the amount of effort they have put in to improve the campsite. 6 years back the outdoor swimming pool was un heated, now it’s heated and has a glass enclosure. This certainly keeps the wind out. We were pitched on a new hard standing pitch. Shower block/toilets very clean. There’s also a huge outdoor TV screen, which was showing football. Small park great for younger children. The hole campsite is well kept. Great food in the onsite pub. All staff really helpful and friendly.

Liked: Lovely little site, kept clean and tidy, great accommodation and facilities. Park and pool was lovely.
Lovely Sunday carvery.
20p showers fantastic warm and pressure was lovely, don’t mind paying for good quality.

Disliked: Staff polite but not great with communication, wasn’t really explained anything had to find your own way around.

Not a lot nearby if you want to walk out, you would need transportation if staying a few days.

Liked: What a amazing stay, it was last minute booking to try out our new tent and we are new campers, the staff were very friendly and helpful,
Especially mark, always had time to talk, nothing was hard work for him always there to help, always see a member of staff around, the pool was very clean and the park was great for the kids to play.....

We stayed over the New Year in camper vans and were delighted by the facilities, staff friendliness and food and drink.
The heated pool was a bonus.
Showers were clean and plentiful.

Liked: We loved the site. The pool was lovely and warm, with a tiny pool for little ones too. Our children really loved the park too. We went with 3 families and they accommodated us being pitched together which was great. There was a pub onsite which was handy- although it stopped serving food at 8pm.

Disliked: Toilets and showers could be cleaned more regularly as the floors were wet and muddy and spiders everywhere! You needed to pay for showers so had to make sure you had change at all times.
We were handed a list of rules when we arrived but some larger groups didn't follow them - it was very hard to get children to sleep when groups were playing music loudly until 11pm!

It's been fantastic our 40 pitch rally have had a great time
They have entertainment us with bingo and quizzes
Music and karaoke
The food now is amazing
All of the staff cannot do enough for us.
We will be back in 2025
