Great store. Lot of options and pretty much everything you need from Cambridge University’s clothing is right here. Great gift options as well and don’t be scared to ask the staff for help as they are very friendly and happy to help.

The best customer service I’ve experienced in a long, long time. Through my own bad planning I’d left little time to order an item and had no expectation of receiving it in time. However, Ryder & Amies were so helpful and fulfilled the order in time. Great communication and wonderful staff, especially Carrie. Thank you so much.

Sent an enquiry over the Christmas period to Ryder & Amies to see if they could make a combination LSHTM/UoL scarf. The only issue was that there has been no official School scarves since 1924! I was pleasantly surprised when Steven contacted me and said he would go away and do some digging in the archives to see if they could find anything. He got back to me not too long afterwards with the School's official School colours and a scarf design from 1924 when the word 'hygiene' was added to the School's official name. After viewing the colours and design, the bespoke scarf was ordered, and an invoice promptly sent. I used ApplePay to make a quick and flawless payment. Can't wait until my new scarf arrives early in the new year after 6 years of searching! Thanks Ryder & Amies!

I recently needed some special UK gifts for my friends' children back in my home country and discovered that Ryder and Amies has been the official Cambridge University approved supplier for over 150 years. I thought Cambridge University graduation bears would be wonderful gifts to symbolize a bright academic future. I called the store several times to confirm and amend my order, and both a gentleman and a lady were incredibly helpful. They truly understood my expectations and assisted me with great patience and remarkable efficiency, making me feel that my concerns genuinely mattered to them.

All the products I ordered were of excellent quality! The parcel was carefully wrapped and the next working day delivery was exactly as promised—quick and reliable.

The entire experience was exceptional! I will definitely visit the store in person when I have the chance to go to Cambridge in the near future. Wishing all the best to the store and its team in the future!

Have found rental staff can be very rude to students, and very unforgiving if we’re not certain of the intricacies of Cambridge academical dress. I understand it’s tiring work during peak season, I do. But I came very prepared today (as have been caught out by rude staff before!) and was still met with contempt. Good range and easy booking system, but then even if they didn’t have this, they’ve got the monopoly on the market in Cambridge anyway.

Pros:
- Simple-to-use online booking system
- I received all of my attire in good condition

Cons:
- Bad service from rental staff. I asked them a simple question and was met with contempt. They also chased my family out when I returned the gown. They acted as if I was begging them for money, even though they charged me an exorbitant amount. I gave 1 star despite the pros because I was upset by their high rental prices and their monopoly in the Cambridge robe hire business.

Lots of great options for official Cambridge merchandise. When I ordered graduation clothes, the service was easy to use and the goods are of good quality - pre-ordering is a very convenient option. Prices are quite high, partly because there are few other options (except for Ryder and Amies which is even more expensive). Staff and kind and helpful.
