Becareful while shopping in this shop. They sell many expired foods. Many times I complained to the staff but they don't care. Shame on their management for selling out of date foods to the public. I visited their shop on 24th December 2024 and found Kettle chilli beef potato chips expired . One had expired on 21/9/24 and the other on 7th December 2024. Always check the date before you buy from this shop.

Good location at the shop, good prices, professional service and very clean and tidying place. Soft drinks , some of grocery stationery and not only. Wheelchairs and pushchairs are welcome too because the shop is wide. Helpful and friendly staff.

I went in today to buy some stuff the customer service was really bad. The girl who served me around 5.30pm approximately at the counter she served a lady who was standing behind me. There was another lady standing in front of me but she refused to serve both of us first but served the lady who was standing behind us ! Her explanation was she just had one item. I can’t remember her name exactly but she was in early twenties . I found her arrogant and rude and next time I visit the store I will speak to the manager about her as today I was in a rush ! I am a regular customer and a local it’s very dissatisfying to experience this level of customer service! It brings a really bad reputation for the business and hopefully they don’t repeat this again

The staff are very rude and grumpy especially the woman with the black scarf she is normally on the till. she doesn't smile and stares at you. The men are lazy and don't feel like helping the customers, the item are good otherwise.

Honestly Ive always had a good experience at the store however today I was met with absolute bad costumer service. I had doubts on whether I had forgotten something very important in the shop (my grandmothers medicine) and I hurried to go to the store to get it as it was a necessity. I had arrived just 5 minutes before the closing time and whilst I understood that it wasn’t possible to shop I explained to one of the workers that all I needed was 2 minutes to check if my stuff was there. Unfortunately the reply was a very rude no and whilst I beg them to just spare me a minute the colleague closed the shutters on me. I was very disappointed in this because not only was the stuff important but the reply was not one I would expect from anyone, at least explain nicely that I can come back tomorrow.

BEEN A REGULAR WEEKLY CUSTOMER FIR 2 YEARS. BOUGHT AN ITEM BACK AS A PART OF IT BROKE OFF - HAD RECEIPT TOO.

MANAGER AND AREA MANAGER REFUSED TO REFUND OR EXCHANGE EVEN RHOUGH IT'S WITHIN MY CONSUMER RIGHTS.

STUPID, INEXPERIENCED PEOPLE RUNNING A SHOP WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF SALES OF GOODS ACT AND CONSUMER RIGHTS

SAID ILL GO TO COURT OCER £1.00 WHICH WILL COST SAMS POUBD STORE £THOUSANDS IN COMPENSATION AND LEGAL BILLS AS THEY BROKE THE LAW 😆

AVOID SAM POUND STORES AS THEIR POLICY IS THE SAME FOR ALL THEIR SHOPS.

The staff are inconsiderate and would not let me purchase certain products due to "age restrictions" yet law does not require identification for the products I would've like to have purchase

We already know that my prices are affordable. There are many products in it, you can find a product that you can't find anywhere else. But I have seen before in another Sam 99p store that there is more variety. If you're looking for something, take a look here.
