A complete treasure trove of spices and all kinds, if you can't find it in your local supermarket, go to Say Cheers. Also, searched high and low in Eastbourne for sugar cubes, nowhere to be found, good old Cheers had them.

From the name and from the outside you would dismiss this shop as just another general convenience store. However, go inside and you will find everything you could possibly want in the way of ingredients for Indian and other ethnic cuisines. Fresh curry leaves, spices of every conceivable variety, Asian vegetables and a bewildering selection of types of rice, as well as all the usual groceries. Prices are very low and the owner and his staff are charming. A great little shop.

Superb place for purchasing Indian-based food ingredients. A wonderful selection at the back of the shop and the chap was really helpful. If you need some ingredients for your BIR curries to cook at home such as Jaggery and Cassia bark, then this is the place. Immense range of spices and oils too at bargain prices. An absolute treasure for Eastbourne and now one of my favourite shops.

One of the few places to find African/Asian food in eastbourne/Hailsham/Polegate area. We go here to get plantain, maggi cubes, semolina, yam, coconut oil, all my spices, scotch bonnets, frozen fish steaks, paratha, good selection of tropical sun foods.
