As a pie mash liquor addict, had to check out Scotts pie mash.
Loved the way it was super busy before lunch and after lunch hours.
At the counter they have these wonderful pie mash history booklets.
Anyway, their liquor was so memorable because the parsley is nice and chunky swimming in the liquor and you can also taste umami like it had eel broth which other pie mash places lack.
Pie pastry was good and the chilli vinegar had a nice kick.

I stumbled across the place while my wife was at a school reunion. It been many years since i tasted pie and mash with liquor. Must be at least 45 years . Now 73 this lunch transported me back to the 1960’s with my mum to Manzes pie and mash shop in Chapel market, Islington. London. It the best lunch I have had for a long time. WELL DONE Scott’s of Orpington .

Best pie and mash shop around, my brother comes to Orpington from the Lambeth Walk London to have it and then takes it away for he’s wife and in laws. I personally don’t think you can beat it. Lovely shop and great staff.

Ordered my lunch from here today, and what an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and I forgot to order liquor to go with my pie, i only ordered the gravy.. I called the restaurant to see if I could add some on and the lovely woman I spoke to send me some free of charge! What a lovely little gesture, it made my day. The lady is a credit to your shop and you've made a loyal customer out of me!
