First time going to secrets cafe Milford since the new owner took over! Beautiful set up of new tables, and the coffee was spectacular! Wonderful service too, very friendly staff which is always a win win from a local cafe. The coffee is speciality, tasted amazing and the latte art was perfect. Can’t recommend enough, new local… I’ll be back <3 thank you guys!

Went pumpkin picking, and it was a lovely day out for the kids. Really well organised event, plenty to do, food and drink stalls, biscuit decorating, face painting etc. Weather was just perfect too, which helped. Pumpkins were reasonably priced and the kids loved roaming around trying to find the perfect ones. Wheelbarrows were also very helpful and there was ample parking space.
We'll definitely be back next year!

It’s great to able to support local produce. Lovely to see lots of visitors despite narrow walkways in the shop. Fresh vegetables, fruits and olives bar my husband fav. Wld b great if u stock up more Swedish food. Lots of parking.

We are a regular visitors to Secretts. We enjoy returning for the quarterly, seasonal events, full of food, music and most importantly, the experience!

August 2024
This year, we went for a day and evening shenanigans at the 🌽 PYO festival with some country music 🎶. Life band, hay, a one man band out in the 🌽 fields, @crumpyssmokeshack brisket and wild 🤪 🌺 flowers !!!
Greg just returned from his holidays in Spain 🇪🇸 good to hear he could’ve taken a holidays this season.

🎃 PYO. Immense fun. The team has gone over and beyond in styling the walk to a scary Halloween season. We brought 2 newbies this time, one which has never been at any farm, ever. Turned out he was the one with most unforgettable experience (video calls with family live with 🎃 and 🌽 to another side of the hemisphere 😂). We saw Greg doing a table service and running around but didn’t manage to catch him this time for a chat. It’s easy to spot Greg, he resembles Stannis Baratheon from GoT.

🛒 this time around: PYO 🎃 🧅 🧄 🫚 🍋 for the 🥣 sausages from the butchers and 🧀 🐐 🐑 🧈 and some old school 🍬 pumpkin 🎃 spicy rum punch, pickles and nibbles.

August 2022
This time, we have been to PYO asparagus, because we were curious how asparagus grows. On our way through the fields, we came across a lot of other produce, like a 🥬 or a pheasant running around. Came back with an asparagus quiche, Howkins Bro elderflower and pink bubbly 🍷 , Godminster 🧀, Bon Bon’s 🍬 and some obligatory lamb chops, 🥩 and sausages. A brief chat with Greg, the 4th generation owner about days on the farm and how things going, was lovely, too.
We hope visitors enjoy the farm as much as we continuously do. We will be back for 🌽 festival,
🎃 or 🍓 fest 👍

Great first time with the family at Secretts of Milford for the annual Pumpkin pick.

Huge site which does get very busy just remember to bring your wellies! As the more traffic of people the more muddy….yes some people were wearing white trainers 😂

Parking is away from the main car park onto a field with signs along the way for pumpkin picking.

The main kiosk for the entrance & exit to the pumpkin field is a minutes walk where someone will request to see the booking reference.

Once you are in, on the right is refreshments, Carrousel, toilets & a creative tent.
To the left is start of the pumpkin picking trail. There is only limited amount of wheelbarrows. So if you’re looking to get 3+ Pumpkins grab one at the earliest opportunity!

Along the pumpkin picking route you will see various creatures, skeletons & horror scenes. Kids loved it.

Towards the end cut out holes to determine the price of your pumpkins are set up and they do take card payments!

Lovely day out pumpkin picking with friends. Lots to see. They have put a lot of effort into their displays. Great variety of pumpkins in size and colours.
Additional food and activities for kids at the end. Looking forward to doing it again next year 😄

Brilliant selection of foods and something a little different. The deli has some amazing cheeses. Great parking facility and helpful staff.

There are also 2 lovely ponds just a short walk from the car park where there are always ducks, geese and swans that are already for a photo opportunity.

I attended the shop today and I am so glad that I did. They have re-arranged a few sections and it looks really lovely. The cheese counter is spectacular and they are all clearly labelled as to whether or not they are vegetarian. The variety is very impressive and the people who were behind the counter today were knowledgeable, friendly and they did not pester people as they looked at the cheese. I appreciated this because it is very distracting when one is trying to choose a few cheeses and someone is bothering you by asking too many questions. This never happens at Secretts and the members of staff are able to answer questions properly.

I do not usually purchase any ready-made foods, but today I did because the Coronation chicken as well as the potato salad looked absolutely delicious. For people who have a sweet tooth, there are plenty of sweets available, including an eclectic selection of small jellybeans.

I usually purchase the fruits and the vegetables. The strawberries which were available today were wonderful. The taste was extraordinary and they were absolutely perfect. I usually buy the multi-coloured salad leaves, watercress and rocket. The shop also sells multi-coloured tomatoes. The only drawback is that I spent an exorbitant sum of money, which is attributable to the high cost of everything which is sold at Secretts.Everything is very fresh and the range of raw foods are exceptionally impressive. I do concede that the food is of a very high quality and the service is excellent. Every single time I attend, there is something new to enjoy.

*I attended this place again in August 2021. Again, I was extremely impressed with the members of staff, such as the people behind the cheese counter as well as the deli counter. The woman behind the deli counter was knowledgeable and I valued her opinion because she was so enthusiastic about her product.*
