Honestly I wouldn't give one star
I ordered what I thought was a lovely twig tree.
Opening it I was horrified.
I have spoken via e mail.
They take no responsibility but took my money.
I am definitely bringing in Trading Standards.
So many people have seen this and quite honestly it's a shame they then say I have to pay for it's return.
Won't deal with this company again .

I've been to this place many years ago, it's well worth a visit as it has changed so much. If you looking to improve your garden, it's the place to visit. There is so much choice you will be amazed. I left to to long, but it's my go to garden centre. There is an excellent restaurant.
Toilets which are always greatly appreciated.
The garden plants are fresh and looking healthy, all the garden and patio products difference and stylish.
We'll be returning soon.

We booked for our 3 nephews and niece to visit Santa and it was straight forward, easy to book online, reasonable price and it was very calm.. We don't like over crowded noisy spaces, this was perfect for us. Upon arrival we were greeted by the till team who explained where the grotto was, I use a wheel chair and found it easy to manoeuvre around the place , there were a few tight squeezes but we managed.
The wait was short then we were welcomed into the grotto, it was fantastic and we all loved it. The perfect amount of time for young ones who's tend to lose focus.

Santa welcomed us all and sat speaking with the children, asking them if they had been good or naughty and what they wanted for Christmas, we had our photos taken and the children received their gifts, they were all very happy and I spent the afternoon being shot with a nerd gun 😂 and caring for pepper pig.

All the staff we lovely and friendly and helped make the experience extra special, we are already planning coming for Christmas 2025 and will 100% be coming for decorations for our new tree next year.

We did visit the cafe which was freezing but the food was hot and tasty and the kids were happy, as usual garden centre cafes are a little more expensive and the menu isn't vast but it is good quality.

Deffo a good place to visit for all the family and plenty of parking, we were in a big van and no issues parking

A Disappointing Experience with Father Christmas at Sefton Meadows

I visited Father Christmas at Sefton Meadows last year and found it to be a pleasant experience, so I decided to rebook this year. The booking process was straightforward, with plenty of time slots available, and the price was reasonable. Getting to the venue was hassle-free, with ample parking provided, which is always a bonus during the busy holiday season.

Upon arrival, the decorations created a festive atmosphere, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. However, the experience with Father Christmas this year was disappointing and uncomfortable. While we expected a magical and child-focused interaction, Father Christmas seemed more interested in making inappropriate innuendos toward the children’s Nan rather than engaging with the kids. This behavior not only felt unprofessional but also made the entire experience awkward—we couldn't wait to leave.

To add to the disappointment, the presents given to the children were of poor quality.

While the overall organisation and environment were pleasant, the behavior of Father Christmas detracted significantly from what should have been a special and memorable experience for the children. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this event based on this year’s visit unless changes are made to ensure a more professional and child-centered experience.

My sister purchased a Xmas tree in good faith .
When arrived it was completely different.
Not at all like the photo on the advert .
This is what my sister received!! ( attached photos)

When contacted the store she was told that it was checked before delivery ?
And it would be fine when set up ?

It is packed ready for return , she was told up to the customer to pay postage as ‘unwanted’
Would not advise anyone to use this company for Xmas trees .

She’s still waiting to hear re refund after several emails, the phone never answered ?
No customer care .
She’s been so upset , this just before Xmas.

Santa’s grotto has just opened and prices are resonable. Reindeers arrived today with Santa on his sleigh. Kids were made up

Great garden centre, always lots of choice and over the years has helped us turn our back garden into a little Oasis.

Prices are competitive and loads of helpful staff with advice on what to plant and where to locate.

Highly recommended.

Lovely little Grotto
Young guy there working called Barney.. Absolutely a credit to the store.
He even bought our granddaughter some sweets himself and paid.. Its a generosity we won't forget.. Please pass onto him what a lovely young man he is
Our grandchildren loved it.
