Been having lots of issues since new owner taken over. Empty shelves. Rotten fruit and veg. No customer service. Having to wait around for meat and to pay. And most recently this 100% halal place is not actually halal. They sold me pasta sauce that contains wine. In the Muslim community this is totally wrong. Shame on the new owners of Shans they need to close up and leave

Arrived at shans supermarket unfortunately in all my years of going never had a problem until recently .MUST BE NEW MANAGEMENT because to my surprise shelf’s were empty ,all I needed was a few essentials to make food for my family so I bought some fish and had to get 1kg boneless chicken. When arrived at home to prepare the food .could instantly smell a foul odour coming from the meat and fish and unfortunately it’s unable for anyone’s consumption Rang the number as listed by Google and after a few tries no answer. my family was saying take it back ,it wasn’t cheap and it’s unusable and had to be binned .after a few more tries and still no answer It was all binned and will have to buy some more from elsewhere which In a living crisis isn’t easy to do.wouldn’t shop here no more as it’s more of a hassle store than convenient store.

Coriander is always rotten, bought some carton of juice, drank one of them and realised it was nearly 6 months out of date!! It has gone downhill, can’t see it being open much longer if it carries on the way it is.

This place is an absolute disaster. All of their stock is rotting away. They are always understaffed so just to go for one simple item you have to wait sometimes 25 minutes half an hour in the queue. They not bothered about trading. I don't think they know how to do it. Most the staff don't even know how to speak with customer. Worst of all they are not consistent. Absolute horrible. Bring the last owners back because these lot don't even know how to wipe their backsides. Rotten fruit and veg. Flies everywhere. I even found a snail on the coriander. Also check the dates as they have a lot of stuff overdated. And they overprice
