We have been using Shayona for years but lately the quality of snacks from the Milton Keynes outlet are disappointing. For example the two items were not fresh..and tasted like they were cooked in old oil...This quality issues need to be addressed promptly.
The Jalebi and Ganthia were good.

Selling expired food without shame. Beware of this shop if you are buying anything from then. Check for expiry date before picking any items from this shop

What an amazing store to buy Indian sweets and savouries! They stock up all my favorites like Khandvi, Dhokla, patra, dabeli etc. And every year during Diwali that’s our store to buy sweets for our home and also to gift sweet boxes to our friends and family.
Their staff is eager to help and always answer all my questions patiently. The main person who looks after the sweet shop greets you with a smile on his face and is so warm and welcoming and upon knowing that I am originally from Bombay, he said sweetly - no charge for the bag for the Bombay wala ☺️!
Definitely recommend this store.

A note - The Indian grocery store next to it also keeps a variety of savory items, so do check that out as well.

Rude, arrogant and ill mannered staff to start with. Food is disgusting and tastes awful. Nothing seems fresh here. I purchased some Dhokla, which came pre-packed and I couldn’t purchase a smaller quantity which seemed very odd. Normally in other Indian savoury shops you can purchase however little or much you want. Any item you purchase from Shayona in Milton Keynes you have to purchase a certain amount. You can’t even buy a small amount to try first. Most probably due to the fact that their food is disgusting and tastes awful. The Dhokla I purchased was very very salty, didn’t taste nice and was a bit too spicy. I have been visiting this shop in Milton Keynes since it opened about two or so years ago and things have drastically gone down hill including change of ownership and staff. Very poor customer service. Will certainly not be visiting Shayona again and I would not recommend this place.

This is a great store for buying indian groceries and snacks. They have a wide range of indian products from food to cosmetics. The prices can be bit expensive at times, but overall its a good store. They also have seasonal sweets and savouries so you can satisfy your cravings during festivities and celebrations.

Purchased mixed Mithai from this shop. Not only are their prices high, the quality of the sweets is poor. The staff are always in a rush to serve you and not very helpful. The mitha box was not lined with to keep the mithai fresh, which made the already dry sweets dryer within hours. Wasted my money. Shayona, please improve your products and customer service if you want customers to return. Also think about stocking real punjabi samosas rather than the buffet size so one can enjoy a real samosa.
