Is this the best foreign supermarket in Birmingham? ?. It has everything you need to eat like Persian royalty ?.
The staff are wonderful, helpful, smiley and informative. There is a bakery, butchers and deli service deeper within the realms of Shiraz supermarket. It even has a range of fresh fruit and veg. What impressed me most was the spices & nuts selection. Pick your own or grab a bag off the shelf.
I’m coming back just to try some freshly made (on site ) tahini on fresh Persian flat bread… ?

Recently visited Shiraz as recommended by a friend, and much better than pars. They're more friendly and professional unlike pars. They have a lot of variety of groceries and amazing cakes. One of the best sangak bread I've had in the west midlands. Little more expensive than other places but definitely worth it once you've tried what they have to offer.

So I don’t live in Birmingham but we decided to do a mini trip to this place in the hopes of having nostalgic trip back to iran! And it didn’t disappoint us ? the place is so nice and neat, it has the traditional Sangak and Barbari breads, it has all the pickles, jams, etc… Anyway, amazing place with also lovely people working there. Definitely recommend this place and will go again in the future 🙂

I was there three days ago and bought some sweets. I asked the staff if they were fresh he said yes .

But when I went home, I saw that the sweets were stinking And they were bad.

You get transported to childhood here with the lovely desserts!! They are not over sweet and yummy!! The breads are incredibly tasty and can be eaten with gravy or buttered with some rashers. The staff is very warm. Do visit!
