Have used these local guys a few times for quality products, once again they smashed it out the park, due to the quality of the product they always end up cheaper than their competitors, why? Every part was fully usable , no twists, no broken ends, no poorly finished products, you can confidently order what you need without over ordering for wasted crap,

I am absolutely delighted with my shed/studio. The staff at Somerlap were incredibly helpful, I made modifications to a standard 8 x 12 and they did an outstanding job. Ricky and Dan came and put the whole thing together. I recommend using this option, it's well worth the money. They've done it many times before.
I highly recommend Somerlap. Their sheds are really well built, far better than any of the other companies we researched.

Way before Storm Darragh hit, I ordered a multitude of panels, posts, boards and postcrete to be delivered. Somerlap only deliver to my postcode on a Friday (fair enough). When the delivery arrived, the driver admitted that he’d forgotten to put the gravel boards on. He said that a friend would drop them round later together with the paperwork.

By Monday lunchtime there was still no sign of the boards or paperwork. I phoned the office. I was informed that the boards had been delivered and had been placed over my side gate. I looked, no sign of them. The response: “Oh, OK I’ll get them delivered.”

Wednesday and still no sign of the boards or paperwork. I phone again. The office has no idea why I’ve been lied to 3 times. I’m told that the boards will be delivered later.

I wish I could say that the boards were worth waiting for. They weren’t - one had significant damage to it.

Well at least there’s some consistency. The quality of their service is matched by the quality of their product.

Placed an order for fence panels to be delivered, day before delivery was scheduled I was informed that they were not able to complete delivery and that the next possible delivery date would be nearly a month later. I could however receive a refund, but that would take up to 5 working days and with only a days notice I had to try and organise an alternative arrangement and pay for it before receiving a refund for the initial purchase with somerlap.

Completely dissatisfied and disappointed with the service, I would not recommend them.

Unbelievably helpful from start to finish! Evie took my original order and was so patient as it was quite complicated. She was fantastic every step of the way. When I arrived to collect some of it Wendy went the extra mile and got some timber cut for me which I desperately needed even though they were about to go home. Can't recommend this place enough!

Wanted a new shed, looked online but difficult to see how well they are made. Knew of Somerlap so popped in. Build quality was impressive, but relatively costly.
Decided the quality of the shed was worth the extra and bought one. Plus the shed could be designed to my spec.
The staff were friendly and helpful.

Last Monday Tom and Matt staggered up my path with this fabulous planter. Having recently moved to Mark I had a very dull looking corner outside my front door which needed dealing with pronto. With a vague image in my head and some very rough measurements I toddled down to Somerlap and started pestering everyone their with my hazy ideas. They pointed me in the direction of Tom. I think that they were hoping he would be able to understand exactly what this 'daft old biddy' wanted. He understood straight away what I was talking about - we had got on to the same wavelength. After lots of discussion, and with me deciding to squander the kids' inheritance, Tom not only designed and built this planter but also several others I aim to use instead of a fence in my back garden. I cannot thank enough the whole team at Somerlap especially Tom and Chris who went above and beyond to help me out. Mustn't forget Matt who helped deliver everything.

I'm giving all the staff a break from my company for a couple of weeks before I venture back to bother them with another order.

As a dedicated wood lover I can totally recommend Somerlap to anyone who wants anything making in wood that they will do their best to make it happen for you.
