Disgusting and unprofessional
service. Ordered from Holland and Barrett which gave the option of a next day collection from Sophie's convenience store. Unbeknownst to me, the item was delivered by parcel force. Had a confirmation from Holland and Barrett to say parcel had been delivered so I waited until the following day to go collect. Noone could find my order so they told me it hasn't been delivered yet. I said I had confirmation and a photo to say it had been delivered. I was told to come back the next day to speak to the owner. I phoned 3 times beforehand to see if it had been found, once I was hung up on, the second time I was left on the phone whilst they continued to serve customers in the background. So I went down the next morning to speak to the owner who proceeded to tell me off because I'd ordered something to his address? I tried to tell him that it was listed as a collection point, whereby he proceeds to have a go at me, that he doesn't accept parcel force deliveries and that my company should not use him in future? I said I am not a company, I've ordered something as a customer, I wasn’t even aware of what delivery service they used. I asked if he wanted me to pay the charge, to then be told no, he has sent the package back! If there was an issue with my order I could have been told in the first instance in a polite manner, not wasting 2 journeys and 3 phone calls to be spoken to in an accusatory tone because of the delivery option the company I ordered from chose. All over a charge he should have taken up with the sender. Shocking service! Completely unnecessary and unacceptable rudeness!First time I've ordered something to a collection point, this one being one that I will never use again. Please be wary, especially if in need of something important and urgent!

Poor customer service. Their products are overpriced and can be found for a cheaper price in other stores nearby. Staff members were incredibly rude and lack professional training. We came into collect a package, and they had lost it even though they had a picture of our package within their collection point. They sent our package back to the company we ordered from creating a major inconvenience forcing us to find another collection point. The owner was incredibly rude and condescending towards us and made out it was our fault that we had lost the package as he was the one who sent it back to the company. The owner was frustrated that he had to pay a fee for a package that he had to pay anyway as he owned the collection point. I advise you not to collect packages from this place anymore due to their inexperience and lack of training on how to run the collection point. Watch out as the store have had people rate them with fake reviews to raise there star rating. Most of the newest reviews are reviews countering experiences that most customers have faced. What gibes them away more is the fact that all the reviews are in close succession with one another. Will be reporting for fraud!

Rudest man I ever met. Will never use this store again and would advise to avoid at all costs. I'm a 33 year old woman and have never felt so belittled and disrespected in my life. Purely trying to pick up a parcel which they refused to give me (collection email sent by the company didn't say which courier had delivered it. Man in shop refused to look through the 15 items on the shelf to see which parcel was mine even though I showed him the email that demonstrated the collection company wasn't on there.

Just been served by the rudest woman in this shop. She has no manners at all and is very often on the phone at the same time as serving customers. It is a real shame they are hub for so many delivery companies- if only they knew how rude she was (and some of the other staff in there too). I will avoid using whenever possible as this isn’t the first time she has been rude to me. Have you ever heard of customer service and just being a little bit more pleasant in general. Manners goes a long way - something that clearly has not been taught to this horrible woman!!

Went to pick up a package my dougher had sent to me via evri .I was told it had not been delivered, even though I showed the gentleman a picture of a lady's hand receiving it ( picture included sweets etc on the counter confirming it was that shop)
Gentleman after some time took my phone number and said he would look later and ring if it was found,in-between time he changed from been almost reasonable to extremely rude
He phoned later in the day to say they had the parcel.we agreed to pick it up between 11 and 12 the next day
On arriving the next day the rudest and most aggressive woman I have come across told us there was no parcel,after what seem like age's she phoned the gentleman we spoke to the previous day.
She then proceeded to tell us this is my shop and I am not a post office.
Again in an extremely rude and aggressive way
I explained it was from evri and you advertise you accept and deliver from them.
Also if that was the case why had you accepted it in the first place
By this time she was almost throwing us out of HER SHOP.
I will never step foot in there again

Sophie’s saved the day again. I needed a stamp for a late card and called in not knowing if they sold stamps. They do! They also had some mini egg chocolate bars too which I’ve not been able to buy anywhere since Easter! Always a lovely, friendly service and so handy for parcel drop offs. Thank you.

Tried to collect a parcel delivered by yodel . Gave the guy my yodel pick up number , he didn’t even look at it . Simply said I don’t have a package with your name on it yet yodel sent an email to me showing that they delivered it at 7:50am this morning . At the same time they delivered another parcel which I collected . ( different sender and different pick up codes / tracking etc ). This is the 2nd time I’ve had issues with collecting items from Sophie’s . I even was told to walk down the street until I could pick up internet coverage so as to obtain the tracking numbers . Sophie’s wouldn’t allow me to use the wi fi in store to find it as there’s no internet outdoors in Ramsey at all . I can not recommend Sophie’s for looking after what are supposed to be secure packages. Will be using Tesco collection boxes in future . .
