Ordered online over the weekend at a competitive price, got a call on Monday morning with a delivery day, driver arrived on that day and left the timber exactly where I had asked. The timber is good quality and the osb sheets were wrapped in cellophane in case it rained. Top job from Southern Timber, will definitely be using them again, thanks to all the team involved 🤙

We have repeatedly used Southern Timber over the last few years. Each time they are efficient, helpful and manage to deliver down very narrow roads! This project was a bit complicated so we popped in to discuss. Ellie served us - she was so
“on it” and answered all my questions, followed up with a quote and everything turned up on the specified dates. Would highly recommend this great local company and thanks to Ellie and Jordan for their great customer service 👍

Wasted my time and money. Bought corner edging advertised as 50x50 (finished 48x48)
Most pieces are barely even 43mm not even close, smallest is 39mm.
Called to complain and told that's just tolerance.... Ridiculous.

Edit: Theres no point Dan, I've had to make do with it as is, and the pieces I needed that were closer to 48 I've bought from elsewhere. I buy enough timber to expect some tolerance difference, but this is way out. The timber was also wet at that size, so when it dries out and shrinks it's going to be even smaller. Theres no way you should be selling it at that size.
You saw what time my review was posted.... That was because of the extra time you caused me finishing the project.

I've had several deliveries from Southern Timber for big, daunting DIY job. They have been totally awesome! You get a pleasant call the next day to sort the delivery out. Then a nice bloke delivers exactly when they said they would. The experience took a lot of stress out of the job. Highly recommend them.
