We came here in the late afternoon. Needed some basic groceries for dinner. Water, milk, some chicken, veggies. We got all we needed. Fair prices, friendly staff.

But what makes this Spar very special is the bakery section. A wonderful selection of great, wonderfully baked goodies. Not just a feast for your eyes...for your tastebuds as well. Bought some Jam Shortbread, Cinnamon Toffee Flapjacks and Teatime Shortbread. Great flavours for good prices. Very much enjoyed these items.

A great place. If not for groceries, you at least need to visit it for the bakery.

About 2 years ago I would've given this a 5 star because of their flapjacks. I cone into Wales once every year for a holiday and their flapjacks were the best part and the reason they discontinued them is unclear to the owner of this SPAR I would advise to bring them back as there was no reason to stop making them.

Thank goodness I don't live in this town, I'd be the size of a house!
The bakery in this Spar is unbelievable good! I don't know how it happened but the Spar in this little town is a must visit just for the bakery!!!

Blown away by the concept of this shop-
Half bakery and half convenience store
With fresh fruit and veg at the back

They have a deli inside which makes sandwiches and it's great. Now, I have a dairy allergy and they mentioned that even though there is BUTTER in all their labels, it is actually dairy free because plant based butter is more cost-effective these days. I'm pretty sure it is illegal to have the wrong ingredients in a label as it can cause someone to buy and eat something they might be allergic to.

Cakes are good but the pastries are so greasy, the grease washed the ink off the label before I even got to the cashier! Also very salty and tastes very processed.
