The in store bakery has changed recently and sandwiches are pre made rather than being customised and made as you wait. But the price is still as high!
So no longer can you get different breads or crispier or softer baguettes. And good luck if you want any specific salad or anything extra on your sandwich!

You can now get better quality handmade sandwiches in town for the same price, so I'll be heading there.

Butchers and bakers are brilliant , prices of food little bit higher than normal , but to be expected as it's petrol garage.

Staff are always friendly and helpful . Nice to see they employ young adults too.

Not had great experiences when trying to buy fuel at a ‘petrol station’ on numerous occasions.
A good selection on offer as a convenience store, but to its own downfall - Don’t be so surprised when you’re in for a wait when users at the pumps then decide to do their weekly shop instead.
Needs a couple ‘Pay at the Pump’ card only terminals for those who just need a splash and dash.
Would avoid during busier times.

This is the worst designed petrol station I have ever encountered. If your in a rush for fuel look elsewhere. People appear to fill up with fuel and then go shopping, leaving their cars at the pump. If you are lucky enough to get to the pump there's a good chance your then going to be stuck in the single queue inside the shop waiting for shoppers to pay for their weekly shop. Save yourself the hassle and use the petrol station out the other side of Willington heading towards Crook going up the bank, never any queues and the fuel is the same price.

24.08.22 Just been in for some last minute shopping for my weekend away. The lady working there was very polite, helpful and advised on how to save money on some multi buy purchases.
