Sadly I will not shop here again. Normally the staff have been friendly and welcoming, today I had the misfortune to have dealings with the manager, he was sneering sarcastic and rude. My wife phoned later and confirmed we would not shop there again, the managers answer was that he did not care if we shopped there again or not. I would not want anyone with this attitude to manage a shop of mine.

The staff are excellent, particularly the lady with blonde curly hair. Only yesterday did she provide me with help and excellent service. It's a shame not all customers treat the staff with dignity and respect. A very obnoxious person in front of me treated her very badly, thought it was their right to do so!

Fran provided me with excellent customer service today, she was very attentive and pleasant towards myself and other customers. Although she doesn’t specialise in working on the till, she did a splendid job in serving me my sausage butty- made by the lovely Alison.

Good range of stuff for a village shop albeit expensive. Unfortunately, the older female staff are miserable, often quite rude and have no inter personal skills - unless they know you well when they seem happy to chat regardless of queues. The worst thing is the amount of stock that is on, or very close to, their use by date. Check dates and quality very carefully. Sliced bread in particular is ALWAYS a problem - try finding a loaf with more than 2 days left! Really not good enough.

Why are the staff so rude in here… 3rd time now and it just gets worse & worse. It’s that bad that I’m making a review on a spar shop experience 😂 whoever is in charge you really need to get a refresh on all the staff from bakery to the till. Absolutely shocking. No thank you no nothing from any staff members. “can I have a sausage roll please” huffing and puffing not really no I’m busy in the back 😂 can’t make it up, not a single word I got from the cashier either. No hello. Goodbye. Thanks. Nothing!!
Felt like I was on a reality program or in a concentration camp. This is why I will be visiting again so I can just have one of them 1 in a life time experience again

Omg….. talk about rude! It was an inconvenience for the lady on the deli counter to slice 2 pieces of beef for me which resulted in her throwing the joint on to the meat slicer. Then after queuing at the tills I was served by the most rudest lady (older tight perm).
Such a shame as the store is full of really nice produce. But unfortunately staff can let a business down.

Can be a little expensive on a few items. Has so much fresh local produce it's amazing. Also has a very varied amount of stock. It's like a little gem in the middle of a beautiful village. Staff are absolutely lovely , friendly and very helpful.
