I don't live near by, stopped as I saw there was home made produce, went in and it looked good. Home made cookies, scotch eggs etc. I could see 2 people ahead of me in the queue, a lady serving a gentlemen who seemed tricky, another answering the phone, and messing about with the computer mouse, came off the phone, still messing with the computer mouse, 2 people in front of me still waiting, no acknowledgment.
I walked out in the end.
I was of the opinion that it was a shop that requires us to buy items for them to remain open. Clearly the high prices means they dont need many customers because they certainly didn't want our money. Won't pop in again I can be sure of that.

Great local shop, open early and late, great for when you run out of milk but need a cuppa!

Sure, prices are higher than bigger supermarkets, but you can't expect them not to be, and it's worth it for the convenience.

The staff have always been really friendly and helpful in my experience, I am surprised by the reviews that say the opposite.

Ridiculous expensive prices. Example, A large squeezy Hellmans Mayonnaise priced a whopping ÂŖ3.25. Aldi, perfectly nice equivalent just 69p saving you ÂŖ2.56 for Gods sake !. Aldi 1 litre fresh milk is 47p cheaper. Let us hope that when the new Aldi store near the Lutterworth M1 junction opens on 12th August local people will wake up and Aldi shop there and save a fortune.
