Bit of a result of a find. No nonsense bike shop. Gave me options and good honest advice. not pushy at all. Dropped bike off and repair ready when they said it would be. Even had a courtesy call to tell me it was ready. Great job and very good price. Highly recommend. Planning on taking my other bikes for pre summer tune up/ service.

S & G came very highly recommended via another cyclist in my club & they also had the added advantage of being only a short ride from where I live & on a lane thats part of one of my local training loops too. I took my winter bike in for a little seasonal tlc - adjusting the front hub, stopping a creaking in my bottom bracket & a few wear parts replaced too. The job was completed very promptly, ahead of time & the communication was faultless - nice people too, I'll def be using them again as & when the need arises.

I've also noted they stock an extensive range of essential spares such as inner tubes, chains & other bits I'd normally have ordered online, however their prices are as good as & often much better than the mail order giants we've all used in the past, so I'll def be buying from them in future.

I have been looking for a place to tackle the bike servicing that is beyond my skill set. I took my bike to Sprocket and Gear for a replacement bottom bracket on Wednesday mid morning and it was ready collect the following morning.
