Visited on way home , counter not manned so had to look behind back area. When Beth came told they were all chatting about a party. Ordered and received but only one clean plate so asked for another , told by Chloe that she would have to put in dishwasher. I said would be better washing them instead of chatting about parties. Chloe told me to mind my own business. Obviously she wanted to be paid for chatting to friends about parties and not worked in Starbucks.
This staff member was rude , off hand and needs sacking the way I was spoken to as a paying customer.

Given a dirty look by the man called Adrian when we wanted to pay cash (my granddaughters Christmas money) for cups and told we don’t take cash, with no apology or explanation. We paid by card eventually. One of our orders was a cappuccino and didn’t even taste of coffee, we took it back, told them politely and the girl just threw it down the drain and made another without even saying a word to us. No apology, smile or anything. Second coffee wasn’t much better and all the time we were in there the guy kept throwing us dirty looks. Would never return here, staff were rude and need customer service training or sacking.

You can pretty much go to any Starbucks and you will get the same service that is expected from this business.
Disabled friendly.
Plenty of parking and is free.
I was concerned about the lack of seating outside as there were only two little tables and 4 chairs on a hot summer day.
The staff are friendly and professional.

Needs to work on making matcha latter. Charging £4.75 but leaving lot of bits of matcha in the cup, this doesn’t look professional at all. At the too had massive bits, which I had to mix myself, and also at the bottom mixed as much as I could. I can make my home made matcha better than this and only for a £1, instead of paying £4.75. Hope Starbucks will consider my comment and staff will improve their work.

Visited today and all staff were hanging out of the drive through window chatting. One staff member then made the order for that customer. I waited a while and asked if she could let them know there was a customer waiting. Her customer service response was they were busy and they were allowed to talk. They need proper customer service training and manners. I will take my business elsewhere as its obviously not important to Starbucks.

Staff were very inattentive, looked like they would rather be anywhere else than here. Also, no communication, like Hi, thank you, enjoy, the usual. It’s the second time I’ve experienced this at this Starbucks, which is a shame as Barnsley folk are normal so friendly. Definitely the worst customer experience of any Starbucks I’ve been too.

Purchased a flat white from the drive this. Unfortunately it was burning and had been completely ruined. People make mistakes and this is fine. Went back and was offered a replacement but no apology, no apology from the manager either. It's not my fault you served a bad cup of coffee and for 3.74 this feels like a problem.

Good service, go here regularly. It’s always busy but plenty of space to sit down. Staff are always friendly. Plenty of parking and always spaces
