Lovely shop every area should have. Got everything I would need and more. Some foods that are more difficult to find are found here also.

The staff are unfriendly but knowledgeable (perfect combination in my opinion) so will point out what you're looking for easily and efficiently.

Don’t listen to any negative reviews. Stupid customers make stupid mistakes. I’ve been shopping here for years and Taj provide locals with international produce from all over the world. I’m only able to cook some of the things I cook because of Taj. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Wonderful place and service.

Order 5518 Hello, I have received the product from you. But I would like to ask why did you send me the guava that I bought from your store? It is so ripe that it is about to rot and cannot be eaten. Can you sell it to customers like this? How can I make it in time? Please refund the money for the guava to me because if it is like this, I will not accept it. You must be a good seller. Do not sell to customers.

If there's an ingredient you want this shop will have it.

Love it here. Great selection of fruit and veg. The bread selection is really good. You'll find all you need for South Asian cooking here. The deli counter has a selection of tasty food. The pakoras are moreish and their wraps are lovely and very good value.

Say an Indo Arabic Shop to experience.

Things Available: Fruits, Vegetables , all non veg items, Indian /Arabic rices ,masalas.

Whats so attractive: You will feel like norml Indian store .

Price: Affordable 😉

Quality: They keeps reasonably well . Vegetables are good.

Any Surprise Items? Yes you can get cooked Biriyani/Arabic style items

How to Reach : Main Road side & Opposite to Waitrose!!

3rd and last time I buy meat from this shop. For some reason the first 2 times I put the “fresh” chicken in my fridge overnight the next day the chicken stank of rot. Foolishly I forgot those previous occasions and today bought chicken breasts and when I got them home and opened the bag, the chicken stank. I threw them in the bin and that was 6 quid wasted. Contrast that with buying chicken from an Iraqi or Syrian shop in London where you buy chicken on a Saturday and put it in your fridge, and even though you carry it for hours in a bag on the train home, after a week in the fridge it’s still smelling fresh. What is wrong with the fridge in Taj?
