Business is now Marimba chocolate shop, opened early April. Very friendly staff, delicious hot chocolate drinks, scrumptious muffins and variety of individual chocolates. Local ice-cream too.

The owner’s late mother once told me “It’s the most wonderful shop; they have nothing you need.” Both things are true. It’s whimsical, witty, and original — always changing, never cliche. Full disclosure: I am an American cousin of the owner…but that has not affected my opinion. A great place for browsing and buying.

Rude old woman at the till. Doesn't look you in the eye. Doesn't smile. Doesn't thank you. Awful unfriendly customer service - and everything on sale is so overpriced. What a shame. Its a lovely spot for a decent retailer.
