One of the best pub meals I've experienced. Staff were fab can't praise them enough . They even put on my pudding plate congratulations for passing as a nurse . Food was great , they even impressed my dad which is hard since he's a chef.

A strong five stars , appears to be safe for LGBT+

What a great pub, right on the canal you can tell by the photos the weather was great so only a few people that were inside in the shade but a great pub, with music with a DJ,live bands and also quiz nights, they also have umbrellas outside if you wish to drink out there to give you some shade.

Great ambience and river view. Through fully enjoyed our visit.

They do serve luxurious The Balvenie 21yo whiskey and the price is 3-4x times cheaper than in any other bar I’ve been to.

It already makes it worth a trip even from another town.

I went here with my partner for a nice lunch out and it was lovely! Very cosy inside and great service.

It was hard to pick what to have as there were so many tasty sounding meals! I picked the smash burger and really enjoyed it - super crispy chips, just perfect.

My partner had the fish and chips and really enjoyed it. The tartar sauce is homemade and so so nice (has a lovely garlicky part to it).

We were over the moon when Telford's agreed to host our wedding reception. It's a very special place to us as we had our first date here and we've gone back regularly ususally just for food and drinks but also for the occasional quiz, open mic and games night! Jeremy and Nicky were really helpful in the run up to the evening and the staff are always ace but we had so many comments about how friendly everyone was, how wonderful and relaxed everything felt. The food as always was excellent and we just had the best time. Thank you so much Telford's!

Went to see Martyn Joseph here. Its a great venue for music. They have an extensive range of beer, ciders , lagers and a great selection of spirits. Haven't eaten here so I haven't rated the food, although, what I saw being served did look good.

I can't think of another pub in the UK that has a working crane in the middle of the floor, it's quite unique. You can see from the outside where the barges would float in below the warehouse and the crane would pull the goods up to the 1st floor. Normally come here when we've finished a walk from Ellesmere port having walked all the way down the canal. It's a nice place to finish a walk as they have a great selection of real ales and beers. Theres so many it's difficult to select your pint sometimes. Update, I tried the food today and had a chicken and bacon baguette. Nice meal and good value for money.
