Tesco Express Woolmer Green

Very convenient and well stocked mini supermarket. Fresh, frozen, tinned, confectionery and alcohol. Logically laid out. Tills and self checkouts. Easy parking. Busy but not uncomfortably so. No waiting to pay. Adjacent to a few other shops, offices, services. Hairdressers nearby particularly good. Worth a visit if you're local or passing by. Clean, modern and tidy.

Good selection of the basics, including plant-based food. Fruit and vegetables generally good, with the occasional hiccup. Easy and fast checkout, with fair pricing. Main issue is the atrocious parking situation, which for a brand new design is unbelievably poor.

Good branch with decent selection of basics to get you through the week. Pricing is about average to slightly high compared to other rural outlets but product quality is consistent across the board from ready meals to fresh produce and Snacks with a range of offers that can be seen around the store. In terms of the store itself it has always been kept clean and hygienic and a good system was in place during the lockdown period when the store opened (the store is relatively new at time of review) Staff always frieny and courteous at all hours of the day (morning and night hours) Overall a good place to shop if you need something urgent or for a small weekly shop.

Handy and open late but there is rarely anyone at the checkout leaving you waiting for a long time. This happens a lot. They regularly have empty shelves which is frustrating. You also pay a premium over a Tesco Superstore.

The store itself is good and is handy with its long opening hours (until 11pm) but there is hardly anyone ever working at the checkout leaving customers to use (and sometimes queue) at the only 2 self service checkouts.

Fix your poxy EVRI drop off machine..it's been out for weeks, very frustrating!!!!

Excellent selection of goods. Friendly staff. Several people going in and out without masks and not being stopped was worrying
