Tesco Extra

Just one piece of constructive feedback. Please put spider tags back on the high priced electrical items/ special deals ie TVs. Purchased a TV on a deal, and paid etc, alarms went off twice as I left scan as you shop and the entrance/ exit. No issue obviously as I paid and had receipt, but this would be stopped if there were alarm tags on items that could then be removed. Also would stop walk outs too…

Update 1 June 2022 Second visit in two weeks and this time ventured into the the coffee shop just inside the entrance of the store. I asked for something that was out of stock but my disappointment was lifted by the cheerful smile, polite apology and offer of a selection of some of the other items which might make a suitable alternative. I opted for two tea cakes and asked for extra butter, the picture attached shows the presentation was first class. The young lady who served me, is an excellent ambassador for the organisation which I believe is a concession within Tesco's. A second young lady was working the floor, she was a study in perpetual motion. She didn't stop moving from one task to the next. Tables cleared and sanitised, surfaces wiped and on to the next task. Fabulous selection of tasty treats, brilliant service and a cheery smile. You really can't do much better. Picture of both attached if any smart employer is looking to scoop up a couple of gems. Visit 26th May 2022 We visited the store today and popped into the restaurant for a bite of breakfast. We were served by Nicole who is a fantastic ambassador for the company. She welcomed us with a bright cheery smile, dealing with our requirements for variations to the usual offer with ease. She is attentive, caring, helpful and polite. Definitely a credit to the organisation.

Fresh buy definitely not happy not forst time waste money!

Under-invested shadow of its former self. Every year with tedious monotony whenever it gets warm they close most of their chilled and frozen cabinets. Want some milk? Forget it.... Yet they can find the money to close a quarter of it for a state-of-the-art crate handling system for their declining online shopping operation. If head office management can't even cover the basics, then further decline seems inevitable. We're going there less and less despite being local. It's a shame.

Great store, clean and tidy. It was peak time when I visited but good levels of stock, and I got exactly what I wanted. In and out quickly there was plenty of parking available despite it being busy

Very big store, better than buying overpriced lunch at services. Everything was well stocked, however sometimes parking can be quite challenging to find as it does get very busy.

I needed a booster seat for my kids and decided to go to Tesco Extra, luckily I was right. I found boosters for 10 pounds but I was also amazed by the variety of thinga you can find here. You have one cafe and a clothing section in the first floor and another cafe in the ground floor where most of the items are located at. You can find electronics, back to school, international food and more.
