A Hidden Gem — Best Thai & Bangla Fusion in London!

We visited Thai Orchid Thai Bangla Restaurant yesterday and loved it! The decor is classy, clean, and elegant, blending Bangladeshi warmth with Thai style — very different from Royal Spicy Hut’s odd book decorations or Green Co Grill & Lounge’s disappointing Thai food.

We tried the Thai soup, Thai rice with chili chicken, and the Lekta Khichuri with Kala Bhuna — all fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. The Thai soup is honestly the best in London!

The staff were friendly, polite, and quick to serve, and it’s inspiring to see women leading the restaurant. The owner is passionate and truly cares about customers.

Highly recommend this hidden gem — great food, lovely people, and perfect for families!

I went to Thai Orchid with three friends, and we all enjoyed the warm, cosy atmosphere and friendly service, along with the good variety of both Thai and Bangladeshi dishes. The portions were generous and the flavours were satisfying, especially the curries, though the service was a little slow at times. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and a great spot for groups who want tasty, good-value food.

This was unthinkable!! Usually I don’t leave bad reviews but both the community and whoever owns the business must know.

I called em up on Friday afternoon to book a table for 6 for Saturday (next day) evening. A person named ‘Sumona’ answered the phone was polite and when I asked if they actually do authentic Thai food which she confirmed. I called her again on Saturday afternoon confirming that we will be there on time.

Now the moment we went to the restaurant (decor was nice) at 8pm there were literally no customers and on a Saturday. Staff’s working at the front had absolutely no clue how to welcome customers just chatting amongst themselves (we thought it’s alright as long as the food is ok). We ordered satay chicken (half cooked photo attached and peanut’s weren’t even crushed image the sauce ) prawn dumplings (only thing that was eatable) and 2 different currys with jasmine rice and 2 pad thai and 1 drunken noodles and 1 stir fries with drinks of course. Believe it or not .. all the noodles were exactly the same with no spice or taste in it. Red and green currys were nothing like thai currys (they tasted worst than they looked on photo attached with this comment).

It was just unbelievable !!!!! Dafaq and it’s unreal how they have got all these 4.5 stars reviews on google ? Fake reviews (just check the names on them and profile).

Their food tastes nothing like thai cuisine none of it !!! Why couldn’t you just be a bit more honest and say it’s a newly opened restaurant where you do Bangladeshi food menu better and trying to sell thai food which you prepare with no fresh ingredients, recipes or bare minimum skills!!!

We were there to celebrate someone’s birthday who was visiting from abroad. You just killed our evening.

A birthday meal we will never forget. Front staff could literally see we couldn’t eat what they have put on the table was never bothered to ask what was the issue.

We paid 110 quid, we asked to give our cake back from the back and left the restaurant !!!

Great spot for both Desi and Thai food under one roof. Perfect for families with different tastes—kids loved the Thai while we enjoyed our Desi favourites. Excellent food, superb service, and amazing value with set menus under £6. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing experience at Thai Orchid - Thai Bangla Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, full of rich flavors and beautifully presented. But what really stood out was the exceptional service.

The person "Israt" was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. She made sure we had everything we needed and offered great recommendations. You can tell she truly cares about the customers and takes pride in her work.

Honestly, with her skills, attitude, and dedication, I hope she becomes a manager one day, she definitely deserves it!

Highly recommend this place, both for the food and the outstanding service!

I was really disappointed with my experience. The spaghetti was served cold, and when I asked for it to be reheated, it came back with the ketchup warmed up along with it, which was very unappealing. The lamb buna was far too salty, while the lamb biryani completely lacked flavor. To make matters worse, the toilet had an unpleasant smell, which really put me off. Overall, the food and atmosphere were very underwhelming.

serves super fresh food at very reasonable prices. The flavors were authentic and delicious, and the service was warm and welcoming. A great spot for tasty Thai and Bangla dishes without breaking the bank!

The restaurant has a beautiful décor, blending Thai and Bangladeshi styles in a unique and elegant way. The food was quite good—there's still room for improvement, but it's clear they're on the right track.

The owner was extremely friendly and attentive, always checking in to make sure everything was okay, which added a personal touch to the experience.

One small downside was the music—it was a bit loud for comfortable conversation.

We ended our meal with Indian tea, and I must say, the quality was excellent.
I must say, Lot of parking facilities just in front of the restaurant.

As a new restaurant, they’re clearly working hard, and I truly wish them all the best for the future.
