Looking for a place on the beach and we found one. Lovely place to stay. Really clean and spacious. Liked the fact you had everything you needed and the welcome hamper was an added touch. Honesty larder was a good idea. One minus the bath was very slippery didn't feel confident in shower. Apart from that everything else was amazing . Loved being near the sea and hearing the waves can only imagine what it's like in the summer ☀️ the dog loved it too

We had a two night stay here late in October and had chosen to stay in The Admiral's Deck, the top floor apartment of the five in this building.

We were delighted with our apartment, which has been well planned and thought out, with a nautical theme running throughout. The apartment is comfortable, modern and practical, with many basic necessities provided, like tea, coffee and sugar, foil, condiments and washing and cleaning bits. We were also provided with a welcome pack of goodies including milk and croissants.

It was absolute bliss to be able to sit on the balcony in October with a glass or two of wine and watch the sun go down! The promenade was fun to watch too, with a variety of people and families making use of the good weather to take some exercise and many waved!

This holiday let has been arranged with secure entry systems and you are given very detailed explanations for your arrival. There is a communal reception area where a pantry and fridge contain extra things like wine, beer, soft drinks, cereals, jams for payment in an honesty box - a lovely, practical idea, which I've never seen before.

The bed was huge and very comfortable, we slept well. The shower was excellent too.

Waking to hear the waves lapping on the shore was an absolute joy, something it's so rare to find on a break like this.

We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return again some day, we'll also be recommending it to many of our friends who also like nice places to stay.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at Beach escapes. We stayed in the Gulls rest apartment. It was lovely and clean and really nicely decorated. It was nice that when we arrived there was a welcome pack and food in the fridge. We enjoyed our private space in the garden and made use of it as the weather was so hot. It is right on the beach so you have a great view from your garden whilst sitting there. We didn't know how to work the oven so the parents of the owners who live next door were very helpful and came in to show us. I will definitely return next year.

Absolutely beautiful apartment, the host have thought of everything to make it a very relaxing stay. The location is perfect with direct access to the beach which our dog enjoyed. The surrounding pubs are very dog friendly. The instructions prior to arrival complete with video were extremely professional and helpful.

The Apartment was ideal for us - spotlessly clean, lovely decor, and a great view from our living area. There was only 2 of us, so the 2 room layout was perfect , very well equipped and spacious.
The information supplied in advance on the area and amenities was very helpful, and the location right on the beach was spot on.

We booked 3 rooms to celebrate a family birthday. Gulls Rest & Captains cabin meant we could sit out and bbq by the beach. Also Stones Throw was very dog friendly. Had a brilliant time & will definitely return. Thanks so much

A lovely place to stay, very comfortable, right on the seafront. The apartment (Seascape) was lovely, and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was particularly comfortable! A lovely touch is the larder and fridge with an honesty box in the hallway - so useful if you forget something.
The location was great too, just a short walk into town. We will be back!

We’ve just got back from a 2 night break at this beautiful place, we had our dog so stayed in the ‘stones throw’ apartment. It exceeded our expectations which were high anyway after reading the reviews. They have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The attention to detail is perfect and we enjoyed every second of it and will definitely be going back in the very near future.
