Only in for food as a party of 10. Staff were good and suitably attentive considering how busy the place was. I had the pork carvery which drives the 3*s. Pork was very dry and left some of it, I wasn't the only one. Roast potatoes were probably the worst restaurant roasties I've had in a long time, dry, hard and slightly chewy texture not crisp or fluffy at all. A bit disappointing. Yorkshires were very nice, visually a bit on the burnt side but looked intentional and wasn't bitter at all.

Warm welcome from some staff but others gave the impression they didnโ€™t want to be there & guests were a hindrance. Booked โ€œKing Sizeโ€ room but it was the smallest cupboard style room and the shower was so small we believed it was just there for show and not for guest use. Positives were good breakfast & comfortable mattress but otherwise not our best hotel experience.

Surrounded by Kilsyth''s housing estates, with views over Lanarkshire this unassuming Pub/Hotel combination definitely surprised us. We were looking for sonewhere to eat after our first choice of eatery turned out to be full, and the Coach came highly recommdnded. The food was "standard" pub fare done to an excellent standard. My pie was uctuous, and full of tender steak. We rolled out of there 3 courses later. Would not hesitate to go back.

Meeting our daughters fiancee s parents we were looking for a dog friendly pub ,and after much searching we went to the coachman hotel in kilsyth, our experience was first class from entering the pub which was dog friendly we were met with very caring and helpful staff, who genuinely wanted to make it a great experience. The food when ordered arrived promptly and was a fantastic offering cooked fresh and ample portion s a definite winner. As arnie once said we'll be back.

Used to be our go to but not anymore. Have they change the chef? It was very disappointing, the roast beef was nice but the gravy was like flavoured water. 2 lukewarm hard may be have roast potatoes but not sure. A large purple carrot which looked disgusting and no mash potato with an overcooked Yorkshire pudding. When eventually asked how our food was the response was like the food lukewarm almost resigned to that's how it is now.

I can fault this hotel for the money and what we wanted it for. It was clean, decent beds, decent shower, nice friendly staff, free parking and breakfast was good. Are there better places, sure, but it was great value at short notice and served our purpose perfectly.

Arrived Sunday 3rd August for work Monday morning. Great evening staff and food was lovely. Decent room...only thing that let it down was breakfast....ordered the Light breakfast...egg, bacon, lorne, hash brown. This was included with my room rate which i am very fortunate for as work cover this. Fried egg was very snotty, bacon hash brown and lorne sausage looked and tasted warmed up from past couple days...wether I am wrong or right it didnt taste good at all...big let down for me..I would stay again because everything else was fine...Will find the nearest local bakery next time for breakfast ๐Ÿ‘
