Nice friendly cafe to stop at en route to other places. Big carpark and clean facilities. Had a hearty breakfast and nice cuppa. Looks like it may get busy at peak times so might be worth booking. Also sell sheep furs/skins for about £70 which is a nice if you want a souvenir to take home.

A great cafe with a wonderful farm shop.

We stop here every time on our way to the Welsh coast and the food is always just what we need. Today, it was a Sunday, and so their Sunday Roast was on the specials. £12.95 for a huge locally sourced roast with multiple choices!

The beef, that I had was fantastic. Very tasty and butter soft! The Yorkshire was light and fluffy and topped off a brilliant meal.

The sandwiches, which we have had on many occasions are always great and come with chips that are always crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Well worth stopping off at, or even a detour!

Visited today with my sister, who had a C-section just five days ago. Her newborn is also just five days old, and I had my 11-month-old son with me. I quickly went into the café to check if there was a table available before bringing in two prams and my sister, who is still in considerable pain.
A staff member kindly told me there was a table available at the back, and I let her know I’d just be a couple of minutes getting my sister and the babies from the car. She said that was fine. However, by the time we got back—no more than 2–3 minutes—the table had been given away to the people behind us. When I asked, I was simply told, “We can’t hold tables.”
I completely understand if there’s a policy in place, but under the circumstances, it felt really inconsiderate. It was my sister’s first time out with her newborn, and we were both looking forward to having a nice lunch together. Instead, we ended up having to pack everything back into the car, settle the babies again, and find somewhere else. It was honestly really disappointing

What a warm and lovely welcome from all member of staff. Food was really good and served very quickly. Next door, there is a farm shop selling meat, vegetables etc from the local area. Plenty of parking on site.

Very nice place to stop at on the way to Wales. The prices are maybe a little high and the peri chicken we had didn't have any spice to it. But it's was fresh and still tasty enough.

Only popped in here for a quick snack but was super impressed with the quality. Had a coffee, chips and carrot cake and it was all excellent. Didn't get a chance to have a proper look at the farm shop but would definitely return to try more of the menu and explore the shop a bit more.

I was a bit underwhelmed to be honest. I had scampi and chips. Both the chips and the scampi were bought in, and the tartar sauce came in a little plastic sachet. The cost was over £14.00, rather expensive for what it was. The service was excellent however, and deserves a mention. On the whole, I wouldn't rush back.

On route to Wales, popped in here for breakfast, it's extremely popular so be prepared to wait. Staff were on the ball so wasn't long before being seated. Went for traditional English breakfast and ate every scrap. Reasonable price and nice surroundings.
