Back again a year after posting my last review complaining about this company continuing to collect on a cancelled direct debit. Surprise surprise they have set it up again and taken another £50 despite being told not too. Another indemnity claim incoming. Either incompetent or thieves, how many people are they doing this to that don't notice?

Great community feel in general with fantastic support in particular for the Ukrainian members of the local community.
Great sporting clubs, including:
Football

Crockett
Table tennis.
Outstanding dance club, from tap to modern.
Lovely gym with excellent facilities and a great range of classes
Relaxing cafe for chats and catch ups. They also have the best bacon on toast to be had in Warrington.
Lovely ballroom for events.
Gorgeous little garden room for small events and clubs.
Newly fitted main bar for drinks and events.
They also have the best janitor/ handyman in the world - Me! ?

Was a busy soul night with two rooms. Dancefloor average, nice friendly crowd, beers ok but was driving, car parking adequate but at 8:15pm we ended up on main road about 500 metres away. Not enough R&B/Motown for our group. Would go back again but not for £8...?

Nice Venue, but I would advise against anyone setting up a DD debit with this organisation. I have not used the centre for a number of years and have cancelled the direct debit three times, but each time the centre sets it back up again! Other's have also had this problem with them, I regret giving them my bank details!

Regarding the tennis section alot of the people who play there are very friendly and nice people ,however the tennis courts are consistently bad throughout large parts of the year and this has been a theme for many years despite supposedly being redone and improved. The tennis section is ran by an incompetent, greedy man and acts as a puppet for his wife who In reality makes all the important decisions because he has no backbone to do it himself. Proof of hia incompetence comes from the clubs membership fees which are very subsatantial considering you aren't given any-time access to them due to the only access point being though the club doors which is not always open.
Further proof of their incompetence at running the tennis section is from their snobbish behavior towards their coaches including not understanding the difficulties that some families have when paying for lessons making it harder for any possible work for the coaches. Yet the club still demand high rates off the coaches in order for their self interest.
Aswell as this the clubs decisions on recruitment in the tennis section is simply down to a matter of mates rates and isn't chosen upon having better experience or abilities.
To anyone wanting to start playing tennis I recommend other clubs within the area of Warrington which will be much more reliable throughout the year and offer more consistent services. Such as birchwood.
Furthermore the Sunday morning friendly sessions are also not what they are advertsided to be as many people have walked away from the session claiming they were made to feel unwelcome by certain areas of the people who play there.
Finally, due to a disgusting, out right greedy and with only self interest at heart the twnnis section decided to offload one of the longest serving people at the club simply because of some small disagreemwnts which did not warrant the dismissal of someone who was a great servant for the club longer than some of the people making the decisions had even been there. Having worked with the coach and him being a great coach to me when i was younger and also very supportive in some of the worst times of my life. It is only right that he is given justice for the way he has been mistreated for months if not years. He was the best part of the tennis section and now has been thrown under a bus. It is without doubt that anyone who has been taught by or worked with the coach knwos what a kind, respectful and proffesional teacher he can be. And to anyone who wants to work in the tennis section in the future do not apply whilst it remains under its current leadership.
Despite all of this there are some positives including the staff in the bar and in the cafe area who are by no means at fault for what happens in the tennis section.
