The drawing room is a very unique setting and a must see if you're visiting Chesham with a lot of character. Really nice service and makes you feel like you're in another country. We had a vegan chicken and rice and wonton noodles as a light meal. The food was really nice, and really nice presentation. It has a really relaxing atmosphere and lots of things for my son to admire. I will definitely be back!

So glad we found this place!
We got there after a long walk in the Chess Valle, which was the perfect way to end: the food was good, the atmosphere relaxing. Special mention to the time we spent with Richard, listening to music and chatting. Can't wait to be back for the live music!

A magical place with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We came here to watch live music and enjoy some wine, and had an unforgettable evening! There is a real quirky, ethereal feel to this unique venue. A real hidden gem! We didn't eat here, but the food looked fantastic, and the other patrons seems to be enjoying their meals! Would highly recommend a visit.

The heart and soul of this space is Richard. You cannot find a more inspiring soul.
He lives and breathes what he does.
His personal touch and how he elevates emerging artists, is a lesson that all within the music industry needs to adopt.
The food is incredible.
The resident mixologist - Sword - has an incredible ability to find the right cocktail for you, and ensures it's the way you like it.
This is a hidden gem, not just in Chesham (where it's been for nearly 30 years!), but in the Chilterns.

The restaurant is definitely unique and very eclectic!
Feels cozy and I loved to see so many upcicled pieces of decoration or furniture! It is truly beautiful and most definitely worth a visit if you're in Chesham - if you have time it's that sort of place where you could spend a day and evening eating and drinking! The staff are lovely as well!
Now on to the food: the VKB - the vegetarian kebab was one of the best things I ate in a while! Would really recommend! The garlic bread was incredibly good as well!
We now want to come back and enjoy some live music!
