Very grumpy staff me and my mum went into the shop with our dog and we didn’t even get a hello how can we help etc the women was very rude and asked us to put our dog on a short lead in a very rude manner ☹️

Unfortunately mine was not a positive experience. Today when visiting this shop, l was looking for wooden toys for my toddler grandson. There were a couple of shape sorter pull along toys, so I took a photo of each to show my husband, who couldn’t be with me. I was severely told off by either the owner or member of staff - for “taking photos without permission“. When I apologised but explained I wanted to show my husband for his opinion, I was told the point was I “hadn’t sought permission and that it could infringe copyright!?“ I’ve never heard anything so ridiculous in my life. Did they really think I was going to rush off and make my own copy of a wooden pull along toy? What’s the difference between looking at a photo or looking at a picture in a catalogue or in a web site? Well, it’s their loss, I was going to spend about £60 which I will now spend elsewhere. I was trying to support local businesses, but they don’t make it easy.
