Visited The Grocer at 2 in Amersham yesterday and it was everything. No longer a café but the perfect stop for properly good coffee and unreal cakes. The pistachio and lemon matcha were absolutely sublime. The whole place is beautifully curated from the home and gift selection to the custom hampers and the small but perfectly stocked grocery and deli. Picked up so many lovely bits to take home before sitting in the park across the road with coffee and cake in the glorious sun. Just a dream!

Lovely shop, like finding treasure, bought cake to take home , delicious! Ruined by poor service , three people no one offered a polite hello can we help, while paying member of staff far too busy talking with someone she seemed to know!! Hardly got a thank you!

A very cute spot for a brunch. Lovely combination of flavours in every choice on the menu and very chic condiments available in the shop. 🥤 juices are my favourite, recommend! Would be better if they had an area for eating outside as it is such a lovely village, even if it was just a coffee stop

Amazing cakes. Tasty coffee. Didn’t eat the cooked meals but they looked delightful! Definitely pop in if you are about! Vegan / gluten free options as well if you require. Fancy!

Used to love this place, but the lack of extraction meant that with all the frying there was a smell of greasy fat, and clouds of smoke drifting by. Left smelling like we’d eaten at a greasy spoon cafe. Such a shame as the food was nice if expensive for what you got.

Delicious food, fast service and friendly staff. Definitely one of the best places for lunch in Old Amersham. Goats cheese toasty with fig and chutney is one of my favourites!

Best coffee around. I even drove 2 hours to get this coffee when I lived further away. Nothing beats it and worth the drive!

Nice coffee though small cups and cake portions are small for the price charged. Toilet experience is still bad, needs attention as not very hygienic 😩
