Really enjoyed the experience, very quick to get a table and be served. Quite quite so just perfect for a stop off for breakfast on the way to something and relax. Good toilets. Comfy chairs. A sweet cafe in the middle of Ilminster, with quite a lot of seating inside. The staff were all very friendly and the service was quick. Drinks were absolutely delicious. The food was good and came quite quickly, not much Hollandaise on the eggs benedict but that was the only slight disappointment. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Popped in mid afternoon for coffee and cake. Nice coffee, very tasty homemade crunchy chocolate slice. My wife ordered a warm cheese scone. That was a disappointment. Apart from a thin layer of toasted cheese on the top there seemed to be no cheese in the rest of the scone mix. It certainly did not have any cheese flavour at all. My wife also though the texture seemed a bit stale like it had been on its display plate too long. I tried some and agreed. She left half the scone. I reported this at the counter when I paid but got nothing more than an easy "sorry about that!". I honestly couldn't be bothered to push it further.
My advice is don't bother with the "cheese" scones.

Great brunch on Fathers Day. Service was slow, as busy but very friendly and informative (the younger staff could learn a thing or two from her). Food was amazing and we all enjoyed every mouthful.

Use this as a stop on a journey down to the West Coast, it promised to be a much better stop off than many of the service stations on the A303 and on that front it delivered. However, it seems quite expensive for what was delivered. The West Country rarebit was only one slice of bread for £8, lovely though it was with the salad, seriously only slice! One of our party ordered BLT bap but requested crispy bacon, let's face it most people prefer the fat rendered down on meat, but sadly not crispy.
£22 for lunch for two with tea and coffee is fine if it delivers but was a little short of perfect.

We decided to go here and glad we did.
A very friendly greeting as we entered the cafe and the place was nice and clean and a fresh feel to the place, the pricing was good and the place had of seating.
The menu looked really good and seemed to accommodate most dietary needs, but we plumped for the cake and wasn't disappointed (a great chunk of cake ).
Wouldn't have a problem coming back here..
