Back again after a hike up to the moors as we looking for some place quick and simple. New menu with Korean twist, obviously can't expect authentic Korean food but good enough. At least can finally have a bowl of noodle soup. And unbelievably reasonable prices. Free refills of hot drinks.

It's unbelievably affordable and service is lovely. Toilet is clean and many cubicles enough for a party of gals. Women will feel safe here with attentive and caring staff too. Food is hot and miss, basic. It's kind of like a community cafe rather than a typical town wetherspoon pub. Unlimited refill of tea, coffee or hot chocolate too.

Really bad, never again. Had the parents up from the midlands for the weekend, took them to Ilkley for the day, bigged this place up as probably one of the nicest Wetherspoons they'll probably go in and in reality, the best part was when we were leaving. To begin, it took two bar staff 15 minutes to serve 4 people, two of which were us. Ordered food, two of the five meals were paninis, the first one, apparently a tuna panini was questioned where was the tuna, more like tuna meat paste and a thin spread at that. Waiter said it's all pre-portioned up in the kitchen n like it or lump it (in more polite words but basically that) Another meal was also a panini, cheese and tomato panini and well, see the photo attached so make what you will of it- let me know if you spot any cheese. Side salads with the rest of meals looked like it'd been kept cool on a radiator. Lastly, to top it off, before we left my Mother went to the toilet and I have never seen such a concerned face when she came out the toilet, no toilet paper. They also didn't have any straws for my little boys drink either. This was a bad experience. Avoid if you can.

The service at the bar was disgraceful. The staff were not organised and took 15 minutes to serve 4 customers orders.
When the food arrived it was poor. The tuna panini was bare of Tuna, bare bread. The cheese and tomato panini was just as bad , a total lack of cheese.
When we complained to the waiter he was abrupt and informed us that the measures of the food was weighed.
We thought the experience was so poor that all we wanted to do was leave. On the way out my wife went to the toilet and there was no toilet paper. It could not get any worse. Such a bad experience, never again.

The food isn't good at all. A chef who can't cook eggs? My eggs were in a triangle shape and were horribly over cooked. Like they had been in a tray under the lights for ages and then sliced. Two bits of tomato mush and a greasy mushroom didn't help. My partners eggs benedict were rock solid. All this plus no coffee available. Won't be in a rush to come back.

Young lady who served me was lovely.

Kitchen sent out wrong order had to wait a lot longer for my meal. The person who was with me had finished their meal before I got mine back.

Jacket potato was cold and the same fried egg returned with rubber texture.

Get a grip.

Ilkley deserves better...

We had a mixed grill. Everything was make just right. It came quickly at a fair price in this day and age. Staff were seen having banter with customers and were very friendly and helpful.

Close to the main car park in the centre of Ilkley. Lacks atmosphere, but this is made up for by fast, friendly service and reasonable food and drink deals. Usual Spoons fayre, with great value food deals to help keep costs down. Love that they sell 0% Kopparberg at sensible prices, whereas many other pubs charge double, around the same as a standard cider. Will definitely be back.
