What a fantastic experience,I visited on suggestion from a friend to get my Christmas meats here ,my first time ,and by no means my last ,the shop was extremely busy ,but the service was impeccable, as expected a very small wait considering the time of year and greeted with a friendly smile the fact you were greeted by staff who were happy was a joy to see(no self service here) just all about you .I was served by a gentleman who knew of my order and wished me a merry Christmas, I said the same back and asked his name,turns out he’s the man in charge,I wouldn’t of known,but what I can say is ,he’s hands on ,doing what his team were doing.
Very impressed.
I look forward to visiting again soon, the Turkey and beef I purchased was amazing.

A lovely farm shop with a wonderful butchery. A large array of meat and poultry. Excellent quality. Love the farm shop, the staff are helpful and very friendly. I'd highly recommend you take the opportunity to visit the animals. But remember animals also need a day off too, so would be worth calling to book or confirm it's open. Only one downside, they close at 3pm most weekdays. Otherwise a delight going there.

Had a wonderful afternoon here. Staff were super friendly and took time with children to let them handle the smaller animals. Cake and hot chocolate was the perfect end to a lovely family day out. My children loved it and can’t wait to go back again.

The website does not align with expectations, and I had a very disappointing experience. When I asked to see the animals, I was told that access was restricted unless I purchased products. This policy felt unwelcoming and gave the impression that the business prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction.

While the products may be of good quality, the customer service was extremely poor. A business should focus on creating a welcoming and positive experience for its customers, but that clearly wasn’t the case here. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place to others.

Liked: Where do I start - this was the loveliest unique camping trip .. Ed was very welcoming, as were all of his lovely family.

Camping in a farm, sharing a field with Trevor the turkey, cows donkeys and goats in the surrounding fields who came up to the fences to say hello was very special. Our two boys (both neurodiverse) absolutely loved camping here, they got to interact with the animals. Ed (the farmer) let them feed the goats and let them pet the bunny rabbits. We all enjoyed watching the farm being run.
The play barn was a great extension to the stay - our boys loved climbing on the hay and playing on the ride on toys, as well as digging in the big sandpit. A free addition for all camping visitors, and lovely to have private access once the farm was closed to the public.

The campsite is not over crowded at all - only allows 12 (I think I’ve remembered correctly) tents which is a great amount for the big field area .. the space is brilliant.

The toilets were clean and any problems (someone had blocked one of the loos with too much toilet paper) were quickly sorted. The shower was hot and the pressure of the water was good. The only time it dipped a little was when someone else was showering or washing up at the same time. But not a big problem at all, still plenty of pressure.

The onsite cafe is definitely worth a visit - Katy and her staff (family) are very welcoming. The home made cakes are delicious and the local fresh pear juice is lovely - we bought a couple of bottles to take home. We also bought fresh sausages from the onsite butchers .. they were really yummy. There is a variety of different flavour sausages. We bought a selection and our favourite was the marmite and cheese ones.

This is an amazing family run farm and the campsite was brilliant. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for having us and making us feel so welcome !!

Liked: The campsite was perfectly located in the South Downs National Park. It was great that you had lots of room in your pitch and the onsite shop was lovely. All the food we bought from there was fantastic and everyone that helped us on site was great too. The animals were very friendly too.

Disliked: Ther was only one shower each. However this wasn't a problem at all for a weekend of camping.

Love my spuds. Their 25kg Agria potatoes are by far the best flavour we've had in a very long time. Great for chips, roasties, mash. Soil on them keeps the potatoes fresh in the fridge salad drawer for several weeks!
Tried their sausages which were fantastic, and some of their veg which was full of flavour and didn't go off after a few days unlike supermarket rubbish.
