I came here today on my own, just for a pint and packet of crisps. First time I've ever been here despite driving past it for the past couple of years! It's such a wonderful, small, dainty and welcoming pub. Absolutely LOVE the open fires and history of the building - which is proudly shown off on display on the walls. The bar lady was ever so friendly, approachable, chatty and helpful which was brilliant - she introduced me to Billy the pubs boxer dog as well as a few locals who I got chatting to (despite me living over half hour away... definitely not a local!). The menu had a wide range of homecooked food at a reasonable price and the fish and chips looked and smelt amazing!! I loved it here and can't wait to return. It's a proper little local village pub with an atmosphere that most places in towns and centers don't have anymore. Definitely a hidden gem!!

Charming 16th century pub nestled in the Worcestershire countryside. Inspiration for the BBC radio show the Archers. Reputedly visited by William Shakespeare.

A proper old-English countryside locals pub.

We all met up for my dad’s birthday here and I mentioned in passing to Michelle when booking that it was his birthday. Michelle looked after us wonderfully, dad had balloons and a cake with a firework. Michelle really made our visit special and the pub has now become a regular for dad and I to visit. Good beers on tap, food great, especially the fish and chips. The pub itself is beautiful. Highly recommend a visit.

Great little pub full of locals in a lovely little village. I try and pop in every Thursday whilst my kids are in gymnastics class down the road. Lovely atmosphere Great staff and the pub pooch is amazing. Exactly the vibe you'd want from a country pub 10/10

This is a beautiful and friendly pub! Despite the village having a power cut during our visit, we were still able to have a delicious meal (with some minor food adjustments), sat in the sun, served by some lovely people. We will be visiting again!
