This store has been open, over a year but I'd never had a proper browse or bought anything, til the other day!- no reasons to, or I'd be buying for the sake of buying. However,my mum requested a particular item for Christmas, which I bought, got more inspiration for other Christmas gifts, I bought most of my presents,the other day! So pleased with my purchases, pleasant staff,great deals! Thanks

This is inside the co op and the Co op is getting work done which makes it feel dark and untidy. Not as much selection as expected. Did see what I wanted open on the floor but staff were busy and did not ask about it.

I am not really in a position to review the store fully. The store is situated at the far end of Stornoway co-op. I am on holiday for a further 4 weeks and have been here for the last 12 or so weeks. I have shopped at this co-op every week and recently saw that TOFS was preparing to open. So yesterday I decided that I needed new footwear and tried two or 3 and ended up at TOFS. I didn't browse the shop but I could see that there are lots of items traditional to TOFS. I walked through the rails past loads of people all masked up to the footwear dept. which is situated at the far end next to the tills. I must say that for a small outlet that this is, they had some good gear for sale. I purchased two pairs of shoes. One pair of Sketchers trainers for £40 and a pair of walking boots at £40 in addition I purchase more pants. When I got to my car I put on the trainers and found them to be very comfortable, a snug fit not too tight and not too slack. All in all I'm very satisfied with my purchases and for shoes I have no hesitation in recommending TOFS. Maybe next week I will have a visit to see just what they have in store. Today I have put on the walking boots to take my dog out and these too are very comfortable and cushion my feet very well. I have had them on all day and can honestly say they are as comfy as my original boots which I left at home that cost 5 times the price. The till assistant was very courteous although I had to ask her to repeat something because of her Scottish accent. But that is not to pull her down or anything as my Yorkshire Barnsley accent is far worse than hers.
