The Pickled Pig

1st visit as it’s very far from us. But was a fabulous experience! Lots of great products, and a big plus on the welcoming, friendly, warm faces. A great visit, 4 bags of great food later and off we went. Definitely worth a visit and a large variety of Greek delicacies and goodies. Even worth popping in for the conversation!

A lovely artisan store. The baked goods in the window cabinet caught my eye! I couldn’t resist a try… The koubes are delicious! Halloumi bread - wow! Spinach & feta pie - simply the best. I will definitely return and try the olive bread and pastries. The butchers looked well stocked but I didn’t get any meat. They also have a fresh produce section and many other ingredients to flavour your meals.

Firstly the owners are so helpful and friendly. Huge food selection and of course lots of meat choice. Every single thing I bought was absolutely delicious. I have already planned my next visit!

I very rarely write reviews but I'm so pleased to see a fantastic butcher locally that I wanted to write one about the Pickled Pig. The dry aged beef is fabulous, the lamb shoulder we had was spot on and their regular lamb chops etc. are great too. Is it cheap? No. But neither should good quality meat be with good provenance. The breads are great too. Some of the olives etc. I avoid as for me they're expensive but again, they are sourced from high end suppliers.

Amazing Fresh Product and Produce. Moved to the area very recently from London. My God, the produce in this store is unbelievable. The different variance of meats are to die for, their marinades are fantastic, minced beef, suggest you try and the Grandmas home made sausages, having tomorrow, legendary ?
