We have been a few times recently, while it's normally late in the day on a Saturday or something, the state of the bin/trolley area is always a mess, why are the bins a walk away from the trolleys when people pile up the mess, every trolley bay was overflowing with a mixture of sainsburys and the ranges trolleys not really returned properly..
It was raining, and while walking to a overrun trolley bay is okay for some like us, it's not really accessible for all. Most of the trolleys hand grips have damaged plastic as well half been broken, maybe more regular checking of the outside area and trolleys needed.
Inside was just the typical chaos, it feels very spacious down the back of the store but then very tight and congested around the entrance and till area.
With a trolley full it's hard to load all onto the till area and then pack if on your own, so if buying a lot it's definately a two person trip.
A lot of prices were missing or wrong, wedding sections had baskets and stuff on a shelf with a lower priced label reading something completely different like a candle, some pictures and frames with no label or price, not very helpful.

Great store with decent quality home goods. At a very reasonable price.
My only negative is that their never seems to be enough assistants on the checkouts at weekends so the queues can be crazy. A bit more staff to help in busy peak times would be a benefit and make it a more pleasurable experience.

I'd love to give the Range a 5 star review as I really love browsing inside the store. However today all items I looked at were not priced. I have to hunt someone down and wait for them to come back to me which is ridiculous. I had to stand in the queue twice due to items not being packed or priced correctly. My first wait in the line I unknowingly picked up a pot that was supposedly part of a 3 pack, so after another long wait for them to look up the price of the item, I was informed of this fact in a manner that suggested I should have known better. However the mess outside is like a jumble sale. None of the other items we looked at or took to the till had prices anywhere either. It's like mystery shopping, with bonus surprises at the till 🙂

I love visiting The Range usually but wow, this store seems truly unloved. It's very drab, dated and in need of organisation aka managing!! Too many items not priced on the shelf. The store is a health and safety nightmare with goods strewn left right and centre in and around the aisles. Hardly any staff around...maybe they were hiding? Does this place have a Dungeon?

A bit cluttered! Good value with wide range of stock. Most products are led by the seasons, autumn is a real favourite for me. Tills move quickly. This store struggles a bit with storage so there is a fair bit of stock and boxes in the aisles which can make it a bit difficult to manoeuvre.

Staff are very friendly and helpful.

I’ve been a loyal customer at The Range stores for years, but unfortunately, my recent visits to the Crawley store have been extremely disappointing.

The café was in an appalling state—dirty and clearly neglected, as though it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. This lack of hygiene is unacceptable and worrying for a public space, let alone one serving food and drinks.

The management team was equally unprofessional. I interacted with Graham the store manager who seemed completely unprepared and unprofessional in both appearance and demeanor. Helena, another manager, was shockingly rude and lacked even basic communication skills, let alone the capability to manage effectively.

The store itself was chaotic, with pallets scattered everywhere and missing prices which makes it hard for me to shop. It’s a far from well-organized and pleasant environment I once enjoyed and loved

Sadly, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at The Range and it’s disheartening to see a store I used to love decline so much in quality and service.
I not sure if I will be back to the store in the future.

This place is a joke. Everything is in the wrong place or not priced up. Staff never seem to know anything about stock or what The Range sells. The place looks like a tip all the time and you'll find the staff throwing stock around whilst filling shelves which is why most of the stuff you do bother to buy is damaged !!

No proper prices on shelves. Christmas decorations don't have prices next to them. Staff looking bored and inattentive. Went to checkout to pay and girl blatantly walked away. I went to walk to the other cashier and a large queue had formed. I complained to the cashier that Customer Service was terrible, the girl then came back and served me..... No apology.
