Well worth a visit, food is amazing, especially Clair's epic roast potatoes (best I've ever had), lots of food on your plate that was full of flavour. Lovely friendly and helpful staff, we will definitely be back.

Just had an absolutely delicious Sunday Lunch awesome value for money, well worth a visit, you may well have to plan well ahead as they do get very busy (there is a good reason for that )

What a lovely little country pub! We had a really good night here last week with our 2 little dogs (who were made to feel very welcome!) The team at the pub are so welcoming, the food was excellent and great value. Really lovely place to drop in and have a much needed drink & some food. Excellent! Thank you!

11 of us had a roast dinner here for my Nan's 100th birthday. We were in a side room. They catered admirably for 2 dairy free and one also gluten free. The food was delicious. The service excellent. Would recommend. Would happily eat here again.

We went today with a group of friends for the Sunday Roast at the Rising Sun. It was incredible, the meat's were delicious, the roast potatoes were cooked perfectly and had great flavour, and a great selection of vegetables. Then followed by a lovely home made desert. Great village pub atmosphere.
