Visited today with my granddaughter to look for fabric to cover a seating area in hallway. Greeted by Claire who was so helpful and I may add also by replying to my email prior to my visit. Lovely selection of fabrics and great ideas for hobbies and for those wanting to start a new hobbies as different groups you can attend even for a granddaughter. I shall be popping back for sure

I’ve recently taken up sewing, quilting and am an enthusiastic beginner. I’ve attended 3 classes at the sewing space and each one is helping to build my confidence and improve my skills.
I love this little shop, I love the atmosphere, Angie and Claire are always happy to help. There is an amazing range of fabrics and other haberdashery items. Can’t wait to visit again 🥰🥰

I absolutely love this shop. Lots of lovely fabric, you can easily coordinate with patterns, stripes, dots and plains. Instructional ooks are also available as are all the accessories you would need for quilting and cloth related projects.
Highly recommend the classes, I have learnt so much from those I have attended. They are run at a good pace and are supportive of all levels, even if you have never attempted the particular project before.
Everyone is so friendly, informative and helpful (and Angie has great biscuits!)

I would unreservedly recommend The Sewing Space. When I first visited I didn’t even own a sewing machine. Angie and Amber and the other ladies were so patient and helpful in the classes and the shop and after 5 years, I am a very keen on both sewing and quilting. There is a huge range of fabulous fabrics and accessories. Well worth a visit!

A real gem of a shop with a lovely ambience. It feels warm and friendly as are the staff. A great selection of modern good quality fabrics and lots of pieces on display to inspire. The workshops offered here also are great. I made a beautiful stocking here and it is a real heirloom piece. Love it.

I have now been on 3 of The Sewing Space courses.
I have loved every minute. I have learned so much and would highly recommend them. The materials are fabulous with such a vast choice . Both Angela and Claire are always happy to give any advice needed. I also had a problem with my machine which Angela looked at and solved the problem saving me money.

This is my 'happy place'. All the classes have been fun, challenging and informative. Always a great choice of fabrics and advice. The shop is the best I have been in regarding sewing and quilting. A very special place.

I went in on Saturday afternoon to purchase more quilting thread, the shop was empty apart from my husband and me. I asked the assistant for information regarding the thread, she assisted; all be it with minimum information and assumed I should know the layout of her shop. I did eventually purchase what I required, but left feeling unvalued, and, regrettably will not be rushing back.
