It's recently been taken over , the owner ashsly is a nice fella and very welcoming , the owner is trying to change things around as the last owner let it go down the pan , usual council pop on the taps ,but unfortunately no guninness on tap , widget cans only , their is a car park at the rear and it also has wheelchair access, they don't do food atm

I have never felt so homely and welcome, lovely loverly people, it definitely beats the other pub where there was a fight, friendly staff and friendly regulars. If your in the area you will always feel welcome and this local pub

It's a community pub that opens its arms to others. Skittles and darts are often played and if you make an effort there is always a chat to be had. Very popular with passing truckers. Its a cracking little place and the staff and landlord/landlady are great

Stopped off for a quick drink on way back from shopping. Me and my friend was greeted by the lovely barmaid who was very helpful with drink selection and we felt very relaxed here. Would come again

Went there for a music quiz night with the wilfs carnival club, had a really enjoyable night,we were given a warm welcome, the regulars were very friendly
