Fantastic service and high quality products from Stone and Tile. Found a lovely looking tile online (Luna Copper Mosaic) ordered a sample which came very quickly. Our main order came when requested but we decided we wanted to extend the planned tile space so ordered a few more. Again arrived super fast. Called for some advice on grout colour and trim. The adviser was incredibly friendly and helpful making recommendations and suggestions and clearly knew the product very well. Due to a minor miscalculation on my part we realised today when our tiler was here that we were short. Fortunately the Stone and Tile warehouse is just the other side of the county to us so we called and they were really helpful in arranging for us to collect more - plus they then processed the payment over the phone as my husband had forgotten his wallet. Really superb customer service. Highly recommended. Thank you. Oh and the tiles look so, so good on the wall!

If you're planning to visit this showroom, here’s a pro tip: make sure to show up way before their posted closing time because, apparently, those times are just for show! The real closing time is hidden in microscopic font on a completely separate page of their website. Bravo! What an innovative way to keep customers guessing. Who doesn’t love a good treasure hunt just to figure out if a business is actually open? 🙃

Oh, and forget about trusting Google—how dare we common folk expect accurate information from the most widely used platform on the planet? Lesson learned.

But wait, there’s more! Attempt number two was even better than the first. Yes, the showroom is technically open on Saturdays, but silly me, I thought “open” also meant you could actually purchase and take your items home. Spoiler alert: you can’t. Isn’t that delightful?

After two wasted trips and a spectacular display of customer service (highlighted by a staff member who decided verbal abuse was the way to win over customers), I had an epiphany: there are other tile shops out there! One of them happily took my £3,400 without the drama or the scavenger hunt.

If you love frustration and inefficiency, this is the place for you! If not, save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. 😊

Firstly, I appreciate your clarification about your operating hours and the hidden treasure of information on your website. I now understand that navigating through multiple pages to find critical details is apparently an essential skill for your customers—my oversight entirely. Rest assured, I will recommend your website to aspiring detectives who enjoy such challenges.

Secondly, I’m relieved to know that arriving just after your stated hours was, in fact, my mistake. How foolish of me to assume a showroom might show some flexibility for a paying customer who’s made the effort to visit. Truly, an excellent way to foster loyalty and trust!

Now, let’s address their response. They claim I arrived at 5:28 PM on my first visit, past their supposed closing time. That’s odd, considering I was actually there at 5:15 PM. It seems the truth is as elusive as their actual business hours. If there’s one thing worse than poor customer service, it’s outright dishonesty.

Regarding my Saturday visit, I am grateful for your team’s “exception” in allowing me to purchase an item but not collect it. The distinction between an open showroom and an actual functioning service provider is one I won’t forget. It’s a bold choice, really—a showroom that prioritises principle over practicality.

On the topic of behaviour, I am delighted to see you addressing my concerns. While your staff member’s approach may have been misunderstood by me (and only me, of course), it’s comforting to know that verbal abuse can be re framed as “attempting to assist.” I’ll be sure to re-calibrate my expectations accordingly.

That said, I’m relieved to have found a supplier who operates with transparency, efficiency, and professionalism—qualities I hope you aspire to adopt in the future. For now, I’m content knowing my £3,400 has gone to a business that values its customers and their time.

Very very good quality for the price and good set of instructions for people that'd not know what there doing I haven't quite finished yet but very happy with finish but I do wish they did corner ones as they are hard to get right. The extra bits are not to bad £20 for a bag of adhesive isn't to bad for a 20kg bag u can get cheaper though. all in 5 star ⭐

Absolutely lovely company to deal with from start to finish. From phoning up and speaking to Charlotte who was lovely on the phone, ordering tiles and getting them delivered the next day was amazing! After having a bad experience ordering tiles from Tops Tiles as they came all broken and not that good quality, and were double the price. The tiles from The Stone Tile company are absolutely beautiful and just what we wanted. Great quality and price. I over ordered and when spoke to Linda she was happy for me to return what we hadn’t used for a refund.Both Linda & Sarah were so lovely when we came to the showroom. I would highly recommend using this professional company for any tiles. We are so happy!! Thank you all xx

Absolutely amazed with the service from both Lauren and Sarah. They really spent time and helped us with looking at bathroom and kitchen tiles, with moving them around the showroom to match. Outstanding customer service from them both, and they provided us with samples so we could look at home which has really helped. They made our journey from Birmingham to Coalville worthwhile. Ordered £2397 of Grey Antique Limestone Tiles which came in 3 very large and deep wooden box pallets. They were very heavy and due to the fact that they were 600 x 400 and in packs of 3 wired together impossible to check whether any of the 108 packs were damaged. On laying them out tiling contractor found more than 30 were cracked or had significant damage to them which meant they could not be used (unfit for purpose)
On contacting Stone & Tile they at first said send a video to them and they would assess the problem.
They said that the tiles were naturally like this due to natural veinings. My contractor told them that this was rubbish and then agreed that they were faulty but suggested that this shouldn’t be a problem as the 10% allowance I had allowed should enable me to finish the work!!
Pointed out to them that due to the shape of the building much cutting was needed and so many tiles damaged this was impossible. They then said that they were out of stock which left me in a nightmare situation. They then offered me a discount on buying more tiles!!
PLEASE DONT USE THIS COMPANY AS YOU MAY HAVE A SIMILAR NIGHTMARE!!!

My new kitchen is almost finished and I'm so pleased with my tiles I purchased from The Stone & Tile Company. My order was quickly dispatched and delivered. My builder said the tiles were great to work with, but fiddly to cut when fitting the herringbone bone pattern around my electric sockets. Buts he's done a fabulous job.

Very efficient service and excellent product(Sheera multicolour split face tiles-large). Easily cut with handheld small angle grinder though a flat bed tile cutter would’ve been useful also, particularly for longitudinal cuts.
Sealed after installation with P2 sealer as I needed something fish friendly.
